Swept last year as well. We don't see many sweeps in the first round anymore. Firstly since it went from best of 5 to best of 7. So harder than it used to be. Plus with this three point shooting bonanza we have had for the last 10-12 years. Teams are likely to get hot at least once in a series and steal a game in this 3 point era.

Hard to sweep in this era. Yet OKC have done it in back to back years.

This Minnesota vs Denver series was a great series for the first 2 games before injuries. But it is turned into a wreck since then. First Aaron Gordon. Then Ant. DiVincenzo too.

Now we have a .500 team (Minny) and a 46-48 win team (Denver) instead of the 2 genuine title contenders we had to begin the series. The quality has dropped hugely. And neither faces any chance in this injured state in the next round against San Antonio.

Wonderful let's keep it that way. Don't want the miserable team from Hollywood sniffing anywhere close to the Finals  :P Then I can watch OKC implode in the WCF

Denver Nuggets might become the first team in NBA history to come back up from 3-1 series deficit and win, THREE times!

With Denver & Minnesota bludgeoning each other, it certainly seems like we're on a collision course for Spurs/Thunder in WCF.

Probably, then hopefully the Spurs beat the Thunder  :)

Gobert has played great against Jokic. His reward is to go against Wemby.

This is pretty wild to think about. Game 82 implications.

It'll really be amazing if the end-of-bench Celtics winning the final game of the season is why the Pistons and Knicks lose in the first round.

I understand that Anthony Edwards will be out the entire series.  This is basically a life line for DEN to come back.  DEN tends to go as Murray goes.  They need him scoring to win in the playoffs.  He is getting his points (average 26 pts/gm for series) but really low efficiency.  Not sure what is up with him.

Whoever wins Game 6 probably wins the series for Wolves-Nuggets

ORL really woke up and is playing good basketball.  If they had woken up one game earlier, and beaten PHI, they would be playing the Celtics.  They could still get their shot at the Celtics.  They need to close out DET of course, but they would then have a decent chance against either CLE or TOR.  I would favor CLE to be the team to make the ECF, but they are starting to show signs of wearing down already.  That may give ORL a chance.

Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner has been diagnosed with a right calf strain and his availability for Game 5 against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday is uncertain and will depend on response to treatment, sources tell ESPN.

Wemby's help defense around the paint causes Shai a lot of problems. Forces him more into the midrange. Less rim finishes & FTAs. Pushes down Shai's scoring efficiency.

San Antonio got a great chance of beating OKC. Wemby does more to disrupt Shai than any other player in the league. Bad for OKC.

Shai averaged 33.8ppg and 8.0apg against Phoenix on 55% FG for a 67.8% TS. He only averaged 2.25 turnovers. Phenomenal offensive efficiency.

He destroyed Phoenix.

In contrast, his teammates shot 38.6% FG for the series.
