Rockets with a chance to tie this back at home...pity they could've been up 3-2 had they won Game 3.

From 0-3 hole to 2-3. Might this be the comeback?

I think there is a real chance Houston forces a Game 7

Maybe KD also decides to man up and actually play

Rockets win and they almost got to 100pts!

Looks like the Lakers got bad Marcus Smart tonight. 6 turnovers, only 2 assist.

Hm if Lakers loses Game 6, I think they have to bring Luka back for Game 7 right

That would be legacy-dementing to that franchise otherwise to blow a 3-0 lead

He?s already been ruled out for the series.

being the first NBA team to blow a 3-0 lead would be a black eye to both the Lakers and Lebron.  oddly enough I'm slightly smiling as I type that

It would be all the better if it was the Celtics that did it to LAL, but the thought of the Yankees and the Lakers to be the only franchises to blow 3-0 leads in their respective sports wouldn't hurt my feelings.

There were also murmurs from the media that the Lakers are trying to drag this series out as long as possible to give Luka more rest so he can be fully ready for OKC next round.

Not sure if that's productive or counterintuitive for their team as a whole.

I doubt they'd be dumb enough to deliberately drag out a series and tempt fate that Houston doesn't outplay them in a game 7.  add in the idea that it could be considered throwing a game in the playoffs which would raise all sorts of red flags with the league in bed with so many gambling outfits.

That would be astoundingly stupid. I don?t believe it for a second. No team is dumb enough to pass up a chance to close out a series. Not doing so is a sure fire road to regret.

Agreed.  Every game a team loses just adds pressure, plus it's a game in which a player could get injured, it adds wear and tear, etc.

Let me give out a shout out to Tiago Splitter, interim head coach for Portland Trailblazers and first Brazilian coach in the NBA. He got thrown in there right from the beginning of the season and for a team that was supposed to be a lottery-bound team, they did really well and made it to the playoffs. They should be proud of their accomplishment and I hope the Blazers hires him as the head coach since it seems like the players respect him and they had a good season.
Baby Jesus!
