Mark Williams is out injured again!

He did good in the 1st play-in game. Has done a disappearing act ever since. PHX need him in the middle to give them a chance. Ighodaro is doing his best but he is out of his depth as the best big man on a playoff team.

I do a long term keeper fantasy league with rookie drafts and a wholw lot of ways to build teams for the long haul.  I picked up Williams his rookie year as part of a rebuild.  I stuck with him despite his injuries, because of the promise he showed and the skill set he possesses.  He gave me about a half of one good season for my loyalty!  I finally cut him this year.  He just seems to lack motivation.  And he he is hurt a lot.  Lakers lucked out not getting him.
Yup

NBA has a OKC problem. Now Booker and Brooks are the latest to call out how dirty the bias has been in favor of SGA and the rest.
I love this is happening during the playoffs becasue it can't be so easily swept under the rug.
Booker has 17 FTA in the 2 games.  It isnt like he isnt getting calls.  Jalen Green has the 3rd most in the series.  OKC only has 8 more FTA in the 2 games and the fouls are even.

Every game I'm sure there is a call or tow that is questionable but those numbers don't seem that far off from what you'd expect.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Problem is, a lot of those fouls are valid. OKC can get handsy to an extreme extent, and honestly I feel they should be getting called way more than they have. Jaylen called this out too and he was right. So was coach Finch earlier in the year.

Meanwhile, SGA and OKC can do very little on offense and get the ticky-tack calls. Even if the FTA and fouls are even, OKC is absolutely committing more of them but Phoenix is the one getting the short end of the stick if you watch the games. I watched some of it, and Phoenix had to work for their fouls and drawing FTs while OKC could just get rewarded for touch fouls, and OKC still gets away with being handsy or playing aggressive defensive. It's absolutely an OKC problem. Even the Sixers-Celtics Game 1, every center in that game for both teams got in foul trouble fast, if OKC was officiated like that Chet and iHart would not last long in a game either.

I would agree if Booker and co. were also benefitting from flops or touch fouls but usually those guys are getting fouled for real. Chet, SGA and others just flop around or exaggerate constantly and the refs reward them. There's clips of it online particularly of Chet. SGA had 17 FTAs just in the first game alone. Crazy

Just let OKC continue with this reffing-bias problem next round I'm perfectly fine with that esp against a more deserving franchise  ;D

But it must stop in the WCF.

That'll be funny. Lakers and Thunder. SGA and Luka/Lebron. Do the refs just give both teams 50 FTAs a game?  :P

SGA will outflop those goons and it would be hilarious

The Hawks are exploiting Brunson hard on defense.

Again, I get the C's had injuries too, but them not attacking Brunson and KAT on defense and just settling for long jumpers and 3s was a terrible plan, especially in the 2nd half of games when KAT was also in foul trouble for a few of them.

McCollum in particular is killing the Knicks, just taking a bunch of 2s and attacking. He's 13 for his last 18 from 2 in the last 1.5 games combined now

Jaylen should be able to do that more often against the Knicks

If our team takes more 2's than 3's...we'd be winning more playoff games consistently
