Welp, the only thing that would make my night ok is if the Lakers lose tonight. Don't want to find out a handicapped LA team being up 2-0 tonight. And esp with Wemby going down, that's one less obstacle for other Western Conference foes to worry about.
At least the lakers aren?t in that bracket

Can't wait to watch OKC sweep them, as much as I hate OKC lol

Rockets once again can?t get to 100pts. Throwback performance for Smart. 25pts/7ast/5stls/2rebs/1blk

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So who had the Lakers as the only home team to win last night.  Crazy.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

HOU were 7-29 3PTA for 24%
LAL were 13-28 3PTA for 46%

Hard to win with such a disparity in 3 point shooting. LAL a +18pts on three point makes on similar attempts.

Similar to the 76ers and Celtics game.

Celtics were 13-50 3PTA for 26%
76ers were 19-39 3PTA for 49%

Philly also a +18pts on three point makes but on far less volume. 11 less attempts. So +18pts on makes and +11 possessions for other attempts. Hence, the larger margin of victory. 14pts vs 7pts margin of victory.

The way LeBron directs an offense when he is the main focal point is still just so good.   LeBron surrounded by shooters is what they have to do till they get Luka back, Redick knows it, and it is working.  They might sweep Houston at this point.  Houston showed no life and their offensive scheme is just so bad. Every play should be run for Durant. He had 12 shots. Tari Eason had 14 off the bench. Let that sink in.  I do not miss Ime at all. No creativity.  No adjustments. They let Luke Kennard and Marcus Smart torch them all game long.  Horrible coaching job from Ime, while Redick actually seems like he knows what he is doing.

Ime may be one of the worst offensive coaches of recent memory.

Yeah, looks like we dodged a bullet.

Wow, heck of a run by DET. A close game into a drubbing in 7min to start Q3. A 28-3 run to start 2nd half.

Looks like the favorites team won the first game. And grats to Detroit, for winning their first home playoff game since 2008 Game 4 against the Celtics.

Suns are playing better this game. Might be able to get into half time only down single digits.

Mark Williams is out injured again!

He did good in the 1st play-in game. Has done a disappearing act ever since. PHX need him in the middle to give them a chance. Ighodaro is doing his best but he is out of his depth as the best big man on a playoff team.
