Grant Williams hasn?t been very good for Charlotte.

How about we put it like this -

How many wins does this team have this year without Brown. Forget bpm or win shares or anything like that?

Most of us didn't even think we could get to .500 this year with Brown.

With White and Pritchard as our best scorers, and with Mazz developing our young guys (but those young guys not having a player like Brown to lean on offensively or bail them out in late shot clocks), how many wins do we get?

Even if you think we could scrape our way to .500 with awesome coaching and Pritchard heroics, that means that Jaylen Brown adds something like 15 wins to this team.

That is 15 winshares. I don't care what they title their stat algorhythms. I like advanced stats, but a stat called "win share" is misleading.
well the team went 9-2 when he didn't play, so if we extrapolate that out that would be a 67-15 team.   ;)

If the Magic play like this, they could beat the Pistons.  They finally look like the team many thought they'd be this year.

I agree. That might turn out to be a really good series.

After Cade, do Orlando have the next 3 best players in the series?

- Banchero
- F Wagner
- D Bane

Then Jalen Duren. Then Jalen Suggs. 4 of the top 6 players in the series.

Think you are right. Magic seriously underperformed during the regular season.

Seems like Kon hit that rookie wall. He?s been really struggling last 10 games.

I still got Detroit winning the series, but it'll probably go 6 games. Even though they hate the coach, a win like this tonight is something that can kickstart a group. A group that's underachieved this season and in theory has nothing to really lose. Banchero's the star but if Wagner and Bane can be solid (and committed) they are tough to beat.

NY-DET-BOS have some pretty good series to start, all should be 5-6 games. Toronto-Cleveland meanwhile just seems like an easy 4 or 5-gamer for CLE. Non-competitive.

The West could also have a lot of good series and starpower, especially if Golden State wins tonight (I still think Curry is a real draw for media/ratings even if OKC will dispatch them in 4-5)

Magic have to be hugely relieved.  Good on them for not following the developing narrative.  The last three games would have been a really terrible way to end a season.  Fun run for Charlotte.  I enjoyed that team.  I really like Brandon Miller a lot. I hope he keeps working on his game.

Steve Kerr going double big with KP and Al.

Completely agree. Glad to see Banchero come to life. He looked dominant. Charlotte is a really talented young team. Fun to watch. I like Brandon Miller as well. Needs to work on his ball handling skills, but his shot is pure. He has a ton of upside.

KP was passing up shots in the paint with guys covering him that were 6-8 inches shorter. Makes no sense. He really needs to be aggressive offensively for GS to have a chance.

Steph Curry with only 9 shot attempts through 3Q. Doesn?t seem like a good strategy.

I think Phoenix will provide more resistance vs OKC than GS would. With that said, I still think they get swept. Just hope a few of the games are close. Maybe they get lucky and win 1 game.

What a game last night by Jalen Green. 36pts/6rebs/4ast/3blk/2stls. 14-20 from the field 8-14 from 3pt.

Also, I love KP but he was only able to play 15mins for GS. I wouldn?t give him more than the MLE if I?m the Warriors GM. He?s just too unreliable.
