Anyone still missing Al here? He left for the Warriors to compete for a championship right lol

I miss Al, but that was the second time he left us for greener pastures.

LaMelo

LaMelo played like a dog in that game.

Knueppel

Bad timing for Knueppel to go cold.

Brandon Miller

I do not understand Brandon Miller. He is so tall and so long. He is athletic. Yet he plays such a finesse based game. Such a perimeter orientated game. He plays more like a SG than a forward. Only without the ball-handling or playmaking to open the game up for his teammates.

He looks like this generation's version of Eddie Johnson (1981-99). A quality scorer and big time shooter but offers little else to his team and has much less impact on winning than you would expect from a player of his talent.

And both times he got nothing from it, first round sweep and then a play in loss. That said, would be happy to have him back on a vet min contract next year if we wants to chase one more ring before hanging it up.

I actually wouldn't mind doing this for someone like Porzingis. Yeah the guy is never healthy, but if you're asking him to be a 10-15 minute energy big for some key moments that's huge. He doesn't have to play more than half the season, and he'd be our 3rd or 4th big anyways and a good locker room guy. You can do so much worse than like a half a season of KP for a cheap deal.

It depends if Golden State keeps him and/or if his market is there, which I frankly doubt it'll be that high to begin with and probably no more than a year given his injury history and illness.

Horford turns 40 in about 2 months. I think he's pretty much done, he's been notably slower and looked that way last night and also last year in the playoffs (yes I know he hit 4 threes a few nights ago but still)

Games have been good so far and I expect the last 2 to be as well.  The gane tonight feels like it might be. a LeBron turn back the clock type game with him just doing something like a 40 point triple double and the Lakers winning.  Feels like it may be his last real moment on the Lakers woth everyone watching.

Ant is really struggling shooting the ball. 6-17 from the field.

The Nuggets are going to very tough if they stay healthy.  Such a deadly two man game with Jokic and Murray. So many athletic shooting swing forwards.  THJ having a career year as a bench gunner and quality backups for their two stars in JVal and Brown.

The West is going to be brutal tho. Could make just as good a case for OKC and San Antonio isn't far behind.

KD is out for game 1 vs LA. Guess he bumped knees at practice .

KD is out for game 1 vs LA. Guess he bumped knees at practice .

Durant was the only one of the main stars who played near 80 games with 78 games played.

Not sure what their team will look like without Durant.

G: R Sheppard, Aaron Holiday
G: Amen
F: Okogie, DFS
F: Jabari Smith Jr, Eason
C: Sengun, Capela

Two small guards. Two big guys. 5 big wings to rotate across the three swing positions. Jeff Green might get a game if they need more depth.

Looks a competitive team without Durant. Lakers have no Luka and no A Reaves. Rockets should still be favoured even without Durant.
