Al going off with threes! Reminds me of 2022 Game 1 of the Finals.

What a game. Wow.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Have no idea why Lue didn?t have Lopez set screens regularly to get Green off of Kawhi.

* GSW had lost 26 of their last 38 games to finish the season. A win pace of 26 wins.

* LAC had won 36 of their last 55 games to end the season. A win pace of 54 wins.

I am happy GSW won (I enjoy their team more) but it is a pity LAC won't be in the playoffs. They have been a formidable team for the last 60% of the regular season. They would have been a good opponent in the 1st round. Given someone a tough series.

Edit: Announcers said LAC had the 3rd best record in the West since just before Christmas behind OKC and SAS.

Feels like that will be Lue?s last game coaching the Clippers.  His fifth year in a row of not making it past the first round, and this time out in the 9-10 game.  Not all his fault, with the injuries, but he has to own some of it, especially if the Clippers look at what Boston has done.

If GS beats Phoenix, I feel it would be a shame.  A team 8 games behind another team should not be in the playoffs (and they were 5 games behind 9th).  The league really should look at only doing the play in if the teams are within a certain amount of games of each other.  GS simply does not deserve to be in the playoffs this year and these 2 wins (if they get the 2nd) doesn't change my view on that.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Porzingis and Horford really turned back the clock last night. Man I wish KP was a little healthier last year. Even if he's not 100%, he's still capable of impacting a game with his size and 3-point shooting. The fact that he was basically a pumpkin and unplayable because of his illness really hurt though, if he was at least able to even play role player minutes at a high level that would have made a difference. We saw glimpses in the Finals 2024 how impactful he is too when he's out there.

wishful thinking but maybe we bring him back on his next deal that's hopefully cheaper and he's more consistently healthier

Curry decides to come back when it matters most and puts the Clippers away and now with a chance to put away the Suns. Imagine they go on a cinderalla run to the Finals

I don't see that happening but I wouldn't mind a payback opportunity for the 2022 finals.

I mean, Kawhi had a career year statistically. He averaged 28pts/6rebs/4ast. Not sure how that is a lack of competitiveness.
