Besides the Knicks, I feel like DET hasn't looked that great when they play some of the other top teams. Like even CLE + OKC recently, they only barely beat them despite those teams missing a bunch of guys. And CLE beat them most recently too. BOS went 1-3 against DET this year without Tatum, with a 1-point loss mixed in and basically every game was single digits.

Idk, they still just strike me as a team that's a bit inexperienced. It's why I feel NY/CLE/BOS have better odds to win the East. Any of the 4 could, but I lean those 3 more than DET since NY/CLE/BOS have been there more often and have guys who have made many playoff runs.

They are definitely trending in the right direction with the coach, Cade and a physical group.

Detroit also doesn?t have a legitimate second option unlike Boston, CLE, NY. If Cade has an off game in the playoffs, who is picking up the scoring.
that really is there weakness.  Also why Cade should be mvp.

Anthony Edwards' stats are impressive

29.7ppg 5.2rpg 3.7apg
1.4spg 0.8bpg = 2.2 stocks per game
49.4% FG 40.2% 3PT 78.7% = 61.7% TS

That FG% and 3PT% are impressive. He is taking 8.6 threes per game as well. So huge volume at 40% clip. Almost 50% FG. Gets to the FT line 7 times a game. Very impressive scoring numbers.

His assists are surprising in a negative way. You would expect him to average more assists given Minny aren't playing with a PG and he is their main playmaker most of the time. Randle leads them with 5.3apg. DiVincenzo 4.3apg. Ant 3rd at 3.7apg.

Yeah, Ant was 4.4apg to 5.1apg for the previous 3 seasons. He was 3.8apg in his 2nd year. So this 3.7apg number is his lowest since his rookie year (2.9apg).
