I think the Cavs will be the 2 seed. Their schedule is so easy.

If so, I'm not against going to the 4 seed, and then letting CLE-NY battle it out.

I respect Cade, Bickerstaff and the Pistons + their physicality, but I still just think they are a bit young/inexperienced compared to CLE/BOS/NY when it comes to playoffs. If given the choice I'd rather face them than CLE/NY in a series.

We've had some close games and won this season vs. DET too even without JT
I don't like losing for seeding.  Sends bad mojo.  Just go out and try to win every game. If they end up at 4, so be it, but don't try to go there. Intentionally doing that, I'd just expect them to lose to Miami in the 1st round.

Plus, it's not like Detroit in the second round is a pushover.

Same.  If they're truly good enough, it won't really matter anyways.
