Discussing what it was like to play for the Jazz with reporters on Tuesday, Anderson noted that while he liked everyone in Utah, he wasn't a huge fan of their lose-first mentality, as he prefers to go all-out in pursuit of a win. ?I don't even want to get into it, honestly. I had a lot of fun in the organization, and everybody in the organization was awesome,? Anderson said. ?Obviously, you know, playing not-to-win games gets a little tricky and tough. I didn't enjoy it personally, but, you know, the staff, the players, I love the players. The staff is really cool, the people in the organization are awesome. Nothing bad to say about that.?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Idk if it matters a ton because it's not like the Celtics have some insane homecourt advantage based on W-L record in the playoffs, but keeping the 2 seed over NY might be tough. Knicks have looked good again lately and have a much easier schedule the rest of the way than the C's. And the C's have 3 tough games in a row after this Friday.

If we get the 3 seed, I would not mind at all drawing a team like Toronto.

I would consider tanking for the 4 seed and getting a slightly easier path and avoiding NY until the ECF but I learned my lesson from 2022  :-X

Knicks are about to lose 3 of their next 4 unless the Thunder rest everyone against them tonight.

I think the Cavs will be the 2 seed. Their schedule is so easy.

If so, I'm not against going to the 4 seed, and then letting CLE-NY battle it out.

I respect Cade, Bickerstaff and the Pistons + their physicality, but I still just think they are a bit young/inexperienced compared to CLE/BOS/NY when it comes to playoffs. If given the choice I'd rather face them than CLE/NY in a series.

We've had some close games and won this season vs. DET too even without JT

I don't like losing for seeding.  Sends bad mojo.  Just go out and try to win every game. If they end up at 4, so be it, but don't try to go there. Intentionally doing that, I'd just expect them to lose to Miami in the 1st round.
