LaMelo Ball with a monster night...30 points, 11 assists including 9 from downtown. Wow

He's still no Anfernee Simons  8)

You mean "Anferno"?

(It's a good occasional nickname, but it's gotten mighty old how much Scal uses it.)

As time moves on toward the deadline Cs players values should be rising: Hugo, Sam, Simons, Walsh.  To some extent even Baylor.  Garza too though he doesn?t seem likely to go. I don?t particularly want to lose any of them as the team feels like a team, but Brad should be able to get something decent in return for a package of two or three plus picks.

Yes - hearing Anferno and Garzilla when either does anything - enough already Scal and Drew.

We still need a legitimate big, so it's good that their values are rising. Not all of them can stay here forever

If I was Golden State I would be looking at a Jackson Jr trade involving Kuminga and a draft pick.

Jackson Jr has his flaws but he would balance out their starting five much better than current constructed.

Curry
Podziemski
Butler
Green
Jackson Jr

I don't think Kuminga has that type of value. I was thinking more along the lines of Vucevic from Chicago. Chicago has had interest in Kuminga in the past. Vuce is 35 years old. Skilled big man. Fits the GSW offense. Draymond and Jimmy to cover him on defense.

Win-now move for GSW
Win-later move for Chicago

In the wake of the Grizzlies trading Desmond Bane to Orlando in a June deal that landed them four first-round picks and a first-round swap (in addition to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cole Anthony), league sources say Kleiman indicated that ? if he ever were going to trade Morant ? it would require serious draft capital in return. And considering the Bane context, one can imagine how that framing was received by rival teams.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
