According to ESPN's duo, Davis is getting a second opinion on his injured hand could miss multiple months if surgery is deemed the best course of action to treat the injury.


This could go down as one of the absolute worst trades ever. I am still not convinced though Doncic will ever stay in shape for a full season though but man, this AD is as fragile as cracked glass. Who in their right mind would trade anything of value for him now?

I watched the replay last night (or whatever his last game was) and boy did that look so fragile. A player just seemingly softly bumped him. And lo and behold, he's out for multiple months because of it. This is insanity, and this is one reason why some of us fans get frustrated with professional players eating up payroll.

On the one hand, I cannot imagine how that could lead to such a serious injury.  On the other hand, literally, I woke up one morning with thumb pain three months ago from spraining my thumb in my sleep, which required a brace for two months and still is regaining strength.  There are some parts of the body that are difficult to strengthen/fortify, and hand/finger ligaments are one of them.

Agreed. Also, AD literally has to leave every game due to some injury or pain somewhere. Like come on dude...

even more reason to question Nico Harrison's motivations behind that trade.  no one in their right mind would have accepted so little for Doncic and certainly not an injury-prone AD as the primary piece in the deal

I don?t think I?ll ever get over that trade. A few years back he turned his back on the Celtics and weaseled his way onto the Lakers, wins an asterisk championship, and then gets them Doncic in one of the worst trades in sports history.

Really not sure what to make of the Cavaliers and Magic this year. They are currently the 7-8 seeds in the East, and despite thinking they could turn it around it just hasn't happened. They've been maddeningly inconsistent too even in a weak East.

The Top-3 teams in the East though are clearly Detroit, New York and Boston (especially when Tatum returns)

My friend an hour ago asked me if I'd trade Simons + Hauser + picks for MPJ. I was like "no, and MPJ is staying". Now I see why he asked lol 

I still say no. He's having a great year though.

I would really look into Day'Ron Sharpe from the Nets in a trade.

I would really look into Day'Ron Sharpe from the Nets in a trade.

Honestly, I would do a deal for MPJ.

The only thing with would make me hesitant is his injury history and his upcoming contract extension. In saying that, Porter Jr is still only 27, so a five year deal is not too far removed from his prime years.

Harden's career totals are amazing. Especially after his slow start his first 3 years in OKC. 17th year. So 14 years after the OKC stretch. He has been around a long time now.

He must be among the all time leaders in rebounds for guards. I believe Drexler is the top rebounding SG of all time. He has 6,677 rebounds. So Harden will overtake him soon. Magic, Kidd, Oscar, Westbrook will have a lot of rebounds at PG. Harden already ahead of Magic who has 6,559 rebounds. Oscar has 7,804 rebounds. Kidd has 8,725 rebounds. Westbrook has 8,936 rebounds.

Not sure if I am forgetting somebody. Anyway, Harden looks set to become 4th all time amongst guards in career rebounds over the next 2 months. In addition to already being 9th all time in points, 12th all time in assists, 23rd all time in steals. Probably ranks highly in all-time blocks for guards as well.
