Third time Gonzalez has allowed a defender to get a hand on the ball and bind him up.  Needs to protect the ball better.

I like a lot of the other things he did though.  Shot a three ball with confidence and splashed it too, that's a good sign.

I'm not condemning his NBA career or anything.  Just a thing I noticed.

How is that an offensive foul on Brown?  This scrub was grabbing his left arm.

Minott with some really good activity.  His length and athleticism is impressive.

Good half.

Love the approach from the team to start the preseason.  Going 10 deep with the right attitude and effort.  Running hard, sharing the ball, taking good shots and hitting a decent number of them, playing defense.

Minott looks like a solid player if a few of those threes fall.  He impacts the game all over the place.

I thought the same thing. It may say more about Minott?s pass than X?s ups, but it proves he can still get a hand above the rim.

Loving Minott so far btw. He has reportedly put in a lot of work this summer and it shows. Too bad he can?t shoot 3s though

If Tillman is actually healthy and can look similar to his 2022 days (or close to it) that'd be huge

first half hot takes:
- love the team's energy and pace.   no complaints about anyone's effort/hustle
- Minott is a lot better than I expected.  has to work on his shooting
- Walsh didn't show much.  needs to show something or his butt will be glued to the bench until he's used as a throw-in in a deal at the deadline
- we're going to get creamed on the boards this year.  Grizz don't have any hard core rebounders on the court tonight and we cannot stop them.  team could possibly set the NBA season record for offensive boards given up and total number of second chance points given up.
- Hugo and Baylor might deserve some time this year.
- Tillman looks healthier but he's not the answer at center.
