Hard to believe but this game was Maye's first this season with over 300 yards passing....380!

Also his first clutch game-winning drive at the end while trailing in the 4th!  ;D

(He had a game winning drive against BUF in Week 5 but that was tied during it)

That was very Superbowl XLIX-esque, down 21-24 and scored the go-ahead winning TD to make it 28-24.

That was actually their first win in the 4th quarter when down 11+ since... the 28-3 Falcons Super Bowl. Insane. We absolutely have the QB going forward. He was NAILS in the 4th and hung in there despite so many blitzes and hits.

I still hate our defense (I know we have injuries like Milton Williams, Spillane, etc.) but invest on defense this offseason with cap space and we'll become a legit contender for years to come  :)

At times I thought I was watching Tom Brady slinging it in the white jersey tonight. Those long bombs were crazy...Maye has a strong arm.

Yes, we need to revamp the defense. Get some depth for the OL. Maybe bring in AJ Brown or a second tight-end. Revive the dynasty hahahaha

I'm glad that "no-call DPI" didn't end up mattering. That had me SO mad  >:(

What BS. Even the NBC refs guy said it was blatant DPI lol

Yeah that Boutte play non-DPI call was annoying. These refs were so persistent in throwing flags last week and throwing OPI calls but not this call like wtheck they were so full of it lol

Really glad Harbaugh decided to stop using Henry with like 8 mins to go in the game.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Maybe it might be a Superbowl rematch for New England with these  ;)

Was looking at the current NFC standing graphic and we could draw any of those 5:

1. Seattle
2. Chicago
3. Philadelphia
4. Carolina
5. LA Rams

6. San Francisco
7. Green Bay

Too bad the one that's not in there are the New York Giants, I really want that SB rematch

Crazy that the top 5 would all be SB rematches though.  Who?s old enough to remember ?Berry the Bears??

FWIW, I don?t expect the Pats to make the Super Bowl this year, but I will be enjoying the ride of this season as long as it lasts.  Just a joyful surprise of a year.
Yup

The Pats could get the 1 seed if they win out and LAC beats DEN in Week 18

Now another thought. There's a pretty high chance Buffalo is the 6 or 7 seed if they lose to the Eagles next week. In that scenario if Buffalo wins wild card weekend, we'd face them in the divisional round IF we got the 1 seed since they play the lowest remaining. Are we fine with that?

The other scenario is 2 seed, play Houston wild card weekend probably and then the winner of Steelers-Chargers in the divisional. Path math!

Yeah I have been thinking about this too.  I think the bye is a much better path solely because of all the parity in this league.  Anyone could lose a matchup so avoiding having to play one is for sure the better route.  Now in theory I could see a situation where the 5 seed is better than 2.  We play better on the road.  Having to play the Steelers and then maybe the Broncos does not sound terrible compared to the Texans/Bills.  With that being said there are too many teams jumbled together to even try playing that game because you have no idea where anyone will finish.
