Maye was bad, defense horrific, Henderson the only bright spot all game.

Hopefully just a wake up call and an opportunity to refocus down the stretch. Think the defense badly misses Milton Williams

I'm not denying the defense today was awful in the 2nd half, but this has also been a pattern over the past month that the offense seems to mostly mail it in in the 2nd half after putting up 20+. Might work against teams like the Jets and Giants, but not the Bills. Outside of the Henderson TD (off a broken play btw) the offense was also atrocious and did nada. You probably still win that game with some good drives on offense even if the defense was leaking.

With that said though, sorry but the refs clearly had an agenda in the 2nd half. That late flag on Davis was EGREGIOUS (on a 3rd and 7) and also how is that not DPI on Hollins where White was clearly grabbing his body. Meanwhile BUF got two very ticky-tack DPIs in the redzone off a deep pass. BUF's line could hold, ours could not according to the flags too.

That defense was atrocious.

We half joke about it in this blog, but Pats 3 losses this season were all at home.

Idk, maybe we don't want the 1 seed and we thrive on the road?  :P

Hey I wanted to go with my family as I'm back for break but the ticket prices became $500+ for each lol (went up like 300 in the last two months). So my sister and I settled on Bruins tickets this Tuesday.

I don't see them beating the Ravens next week. They HAVE to take care of business against NYJ and MIA to finish 13-4, win the division and probably finish the 2 seed. If they can't then yikes

Refs were flat out trash. Bull crap DPI's on us but they let them grab and pull and everything in between. Someone has to explain to me how that Marcus Jones INT was somehow a catch for buffalo and a DPI?? I get the simultaneous catch the tie goes to the offense but the receiver never touched the ball with his hands, it bounced off his chest and right into Jones hands who clearly secured it. That was one of the worst calls I've seen in my life.

And then after all the bs calls all game they let the DB grab Diggs around the waist and pull, clearly defensive holding on the last play of the game on offense. There was a clear agenda with the officiating today
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

We have the worst tackling team in the NFL. Week after week we give up crazy yards after contact. So many times we will have the QB or RB in our grasp for a loss or short gain and they somehow get 7 yards out of it. And then at the end of the game when we know they are gonna run it but we still surrender 6 or 7 yards a play, that crap aint gonna fly in the playoffs.

Just goes to show how important Williams and Spillane are to our defense because no one else seems to be able to make a play

They just announced that Mahomes has a torn ACL.  Definitely out for the season.  Tough break.

But as for the Patriots, I am extremely disappointed at the missed opportunity, but I still think the Pats are a solid team and will make some noise in the playoffs.  BUF is a really good team.  Josh Allen is a very good QB.  Allen handled the pressure and the conditions better than Drake Maye did today.

Today was a reality check for the team, but there is an opportunity to learn from this and come back better the rest of the season.  The defense was picked apart by Allen today.  He can do that.  And he didn't have any bad plays today.  When he plays like that, BUF is a better team than the Pats right now.  But I like the trajectory of the Pats over the trajectory of BUF.

Funny you say that because to my eye we have one of the best tackling teams in the NFL

We do, but we didn't have Spillane today and frankly today the tackling was really bad especially the second half. Felt like Allen and Cooks were escaping or getting a ton of YAC, especially Cooks which led to quite a few 5+ yard gains which isn't great.

Yeah the hardcore fans are priced out nowadays. So it's mostly pink hats.
