Not sure about others, but I can easily tell if a clap is coming from directly behind me or from several yards in front of me.

Even if it's 10 yards in front of you in a crowd of 70,000+ yelling while you're kneeling to snap the ball backwards??

Also lost in all this, that guard was completely lost and whiffed entirely on that. What was he doing? Even if he went on the clap/snap as well he clearly didn't even touch Milton Williams lol

If crowd noise is an issue, he's definitely less likely to hear Patriots clapping from several yards away than he is to hear his own QB clapping.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Yeah, I think the whole thing is BS.  Hawkins was signaling to a teammate.  It's pretty clear he's not simulating a snap, plus as you mentioned, he's 15 yards away and the crowd was extremely loud at that juncture.

Seems like the center just screwed up and Morris is trying to make excuses.

This is so stupid. Worst case scenario, if it was ALL true (which is certainly a stretch from any video and perspective ive seen...) wouldnt it be a blown call, not cheating.

It would be like saying the Pats cheated on that Gonzo interference if London dropped the ball and the refs didnt throw a flag...

So stupid of Morris

Edit: teams will have to start stockpiling picks for when they false start, off sides, and delay of games aka "cheating"

Not a single move by the Pats. Guess Kraft told Vrabel that the bank is closed. Tied for the best record in the NFL and they do nothing.  :blank:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Them not doing a single thing is wild to me. All they essentially did was sell off depth pieces (Dugger + White). And if someone gets hurt in those positions, oh boy.

Defense needed 1-2 additions for sure. Now it's relying on the current guys and everyone staying healthy. We'll see

It?s a little deflating. Rather than giving the appearance of having SB aspirations this year, it seems that they are satisfied with an appearance in the playoffs.

Pats down 7-0 at Tampa.

Sounds like Drake Maye and co might be in for a rude-awakening, esp against a stellar team. Hope they can hang around with Tampa.

Not looking good so far. Other than the pitch to Henderson theres been nowhere for pats to run.  TB line is creating nice holes for their RBs. Easy score on the first drive. But that?s happened to the pats before.

Beautiful - catch and run by rookie Kyle Williams.  Great to see given Boutte out.   Huge play - 70+ yards.   7-7.

7 to 7 feels a lot better. They didn?t play well the whole quarter but end up tied. Count that as a win.

Kept them to 3 at least.

Pats need to score here

Very ballsy call on fourth down.  Great throw and catch.

Great coach, great throw, and a great catch.  These guys are for real....
