Amazing game by Drake last night. He was running for his life all game long and still got the W.

Contrary to what Chris Collins worth thinks, Drake protecting the football under heavy pressure is more important than keeping his head up if it means not getting stripped.

Our O-line still blows. Hard. With just an average line we'd be a lock for the playoffs barring injury.

Drake had a good game and the play calling by McDaniels was excellent. Next step for Maye will be improving pocket presence and improving in the redzone. It seems that the coaching staff would prefer giving it to the RB?s at this point.

Also, the O-line has been solid this season. Much better than recent years.

The Patriots' offensive line is ranked fourth in the NFL for pass blocking efficiency by Pro Football Focus, showing significant improvement from a prior weakness to a potential strength

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That's good to know. To my eyes it looked mostly good yesterday.

This was a shocking win, in my book. Pregame, I was figuring on a Bills win by at least two touchdowns, given how good they are and that it was a home game for them. Maye performed well under pressure, especially on that "pass while falling down" to Diggs. Speaking of whom, Diggs was fantastic yesterday.

Dang, it was expected but now confirmed, Gibson out for the year with torn ACL.

I know they have Henderson-Stevenson but they probably need to get another RB for depth

That's a bummer. Is it possible to have even one season without a major injury?

This was reported on Saturday (Oct 4), before the BUF game.  The line had been doing better, but vs. BUF this week, I did not feel that the run blocking or pass protection was very good.  I expect this ranking to go down after this game is factored in.

BUF clearly had the scheme to bring pressure and take their chances with man coverage.  Also stack the line to prevent the run game.  Make Drake beat them (which in the end, he did).  But if BUF does not turn the ball over 3 times, and commit countless dumb penalties, they probably win and this becomes the gameplan blueprint that other teams will follow.

I would say that the OL is still exceeding expectations when you consider that two rookies are starting, but also still a work in progress that will need to continue to improve.  Which could be said about nearly all aspect of this team at this point.

They do have Terrell Jennings on their practice squad, but they'll probably need to hit practice squads of other teams.  There isn't much out there for free agents.  Frank Gore Jr is on the Bills PS.  :-)

I know they usually don't but this trade deadline I do think the Pats should make 2 moves. Another piece for the offense (RB or WR), and another LB. I think the secondary is fine with Gonzalez back. But if not LB, maybe a safety would be fine too.

Can we stop using our RB?s for returns?? We lost Gibson and then Vrabel immediately throws Stevenson in for a punt return. SMH

Concerned about the potential for a letdown game in New Orleans this Sunday but the next 4 weeks are very winnable games.

I think they go 3-1 and lose to CLE in a trap game. CLE's defense is elite and could give us fits
