We already did the voting thing. Maybe some specific match-up advantage might change a winner here and there, but basically we'll get the same outcome I suppose.

Yeah, for better or worse, I don't see anybody changing their minds.

Ok. Then let?s get any minutes adjustments for the playoffs in, and we?ll start sometime on Monday. RodyTur PM?d and that?s all I?ve heard so far.

I am also happy to do sim and vote both. I think the sim results so far have been pretty telling, so if we wanted to continue with the sim but also stimulate some discussion and do voting, we can

Playin results

Who def Donoghus 129-119

Draymond gives a valiant effort, in a rare instance of his leading the team in scoring with 23-6-11 on 10 for 15 shooting, and Miller and Redd score in double digits off the bench, but TMac goes 7-18 for 18 points and the Bucks fall to the Knicks. Embiid scores 24 points on 11 shots, Nash gets 21-9 on 14 shots, and JJJ off the bench has 23 on 14 shots for an efficient big 3

CFF def Snively 108-99

Tim Duncan is the POG, with 20-19-4 and Ray Allen has a big game with 25 points on 14 shots, as Bosh chips in 15-8 and CP3 tallies 8 assists.

Snively gets a valiant effort but no big scoring efforts, Horford leads the way with 15 and Snively gets 14 points from 3 different guys (Kobe, Billups, Zion) but in the end it?s not enough as CFF?s defense is too much

ROUND 1 - #5 RodyTur10 defeats #4 Timdawgg 4-1

The series turned in game 2, when James Harden fouled out in 11 minutes and Rody stole one of the first 2 games on the road. He then squeaked out both home games with narrow margins, with a balanced scoring effort led by DWade, his unquestioned alpha. Timdawgg just didn?t get the top end efficient scoring he needed from AD and Harden. Amare tried to make up for it and the bench played well, but in the end Rody notched another road win in game 5 to close out the series. Even sim Harden can?t catch a break in the playoffs

RodyTur10 advances to Round 2!

ROUND 1 - #3 Moranis sweeps #6 Jvalin 4-0

Luka had one off game, but was the POG 3x out of 4 games as the teams unquestioned offensive engine. Mo got very efficient scoring from his starting 5 and consistent scoring support from Melo and Mitchell off the bench. This was a high scoring series, unlike Rody vs Tim which was often pretty low scoring. In a battle of two high octane modern offenses, Jvalin was done in by Jokic having too small a role on offense and not dominating the ball enough, ceding too many shots and initiations to guards and wings, and due to getting dominated on the boards, routinely finishing with less than 40 total rebounds (often under 38) and less than five offensive rebounds. His core of wings and Brook Lopez provided elite scoring that would overwhelm many teams, but scoring is not a problem for Moranis and in the end, consistently getting outrebounded by 10-15+ meant Jvalin couldn?t steal one.

Moranis advances to Round 2!

ROUND 1 - #2 Roy Hobbs defeats #7 Who 4-1

This series was incredibly close to potentially swinging the other way. Roy snuck by in an epic game 1 with a score of 131-130 and then lost game 2, going on the road for 2 games split at 1-1 and it easily could have been 2-0 Who with 2 home games to come in a dominant position. But Roy won both road games and then won game 5 by a narrow margin. He had a big 3 of Steph, Giannis and Brand but more balanced scoring than expected, as Curry and Giannis never really both exploded at the same time. Who?s starters were brilliant in the series, consistently all scoring 15-30 points, but couldn?t get enough incremental offense from the bench to swing a few of the close game when it mattered. Still, a much closer and more interesting series than the final score suggests.

Roy Hobbs advances to Round 2
