Absolutely ridiculous that Belichick didn't make the hall of fame.

People made it personal.  There's no universe where his on field merits aren't good enough to justify immediate induction on the first ballot.

Thought there would have been more. 

Only five NFL coaches have been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility: George Halas, Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Don Shula, and Chuck Noll.

Probably saw that Brady was the one carrying the load in New England and not Belichick. That had to play a factor.

It appears there were a couple very vocal critics of Bill because of the 2 cheating scandals that felt he shouldn't be in on the 1st ballot and swayed others to vote that way.  He will probably get 50 of 50 votes next year.

It is also dumb and this is coming from someone who has been a pretty vocal critic of Bill on here.  The man deserved to be a 1st ballot HOFer and anyone that didn't vote that way, should lose their voting rights.

If they pinned Spygate on Belichick, then they're gonna pin Deflategate on Brady.

BTW, both scandals were a sham esp Deflategate. Brady and co got railroaded on that Ideal Gas Law.

With Spygate, everyone else was stealing signals but it's just the Pats got caught on it and media blew it out of proportion cuz they were on a dynasty run at the time lol
