Man, I had totally forgotten about Gallinari.   Nice deep dive pick there.

Bowen pick is perfect for Roy's squad.

Thanks.  I sweated him the last couple of rounds, thinking that the last few guys I took were more likely to be drafted.  But, I don't see Bowen as a typical 12th man; he would be in the rotation, I suspect.

But, questions like that I leave to coach Norman Dale.

His Clippers campaign in 18/19 was pretty incredible: 20/6/3 in 30mpg on 63TS% (46/43/90 shooting splits)

Yeah, the "one season" aspect of this is fun.  Gallinari's career was good overall, but his peak was great.

Yep. Also great for the guys that got ravaged by injuries and lost rep due to injury. Like Brand (and to a lesser extent my guys Granger and Gordon).

David West is one of my alltime favorite binkies.

I thought that David West had a chance to be a starter in this league. Well rounded smart PF.

David West just fits that Orlando squad.

Actually, I'd start him over Bosh.

I would move Bosh to the backup PF and move Ibaka to 3rd string.

Artest is a guy I wanted but my favorite season of his was just out of reach. Those Sac/Houston years I wasn't sure what his defensive impact was.

There were like 10 guys I was considering in the early 5th round when I selected Iggy. Ron Artest was one of them. I decided against it because I have never liked his decision making offensively. Bad shot selection. Slow decision maker / passer. Ball stopper.

But while I did not like him as a starter with this group, I do like him as a 3rd stringer. He brings something different. The guy is a beast. Physical toughness on the wing. Iggy is the only one who has some of that. Artest has even more of it.

His defense was still top notch in Sacramento & Houston.

I considered him, too.  I don't think he was DPOY quality later in his career, but I do think he was an impactful defender.  It's just that his efficiency was pretty awful.

In the 12th round, I assume he's only coming in for specialist minutes, which I think he'll offer.

I was watching the 2009 2nd round series between LAL and Houston and Artest was knocking Ariza around like a bowling pin.
