It doesn't feel worth watching without Hugo there.

We already have a good idea of what Scheierman and J Walsh bring to the table. Amari Williams is somewhat interesting but not sure I watch a whole game just to see him.

No interest in any of the others on the team. The Knicks do not have interesting young talent either.

Amari only 4min in Q1.

I do not understand these coaches that give so little playing time to actual prospects on the team in favour of letting a bunch of nobodies on the end of the bench play instead. Play your youth!

Yeah.  The only non-contract player I'm interested in is Bassey.

Amari doesn't open on the screen very well.

Jordan Walsh = 2-8 FGA including 1-5 3PA

He made 1 three point early and a dunk. He has made only 1 jump shot the whole game.

This is the only thing that matters for him. It is why he hasn't been able to carve out a regular role on his team. He couldn't make enough jump-shots to stay on the floor. Today's game is doing nothing to prove he is ready to play on this team.

Amari Williams is so peripheral. You barely notice he is even on the floor. Barely involved in offense. Barely involved in defense. Barely involved in rebounding.

He is just there ... doing little to nothing.

----------------------------

Positive signs: He has enough size, quickness and athleticism to make it in the NBA.

Negative signs: He shows no signs of having either the skill or know-how necessary to play in this league. It is not a lack of physical talent. It is a lack of skill & know-how.

Bassey is small. He is fast and can jump but not much physical presence in the paint or around the rim (on defense).

I think he is benefitting from SL opponents who are smaller and/or not as athletic as NBA centers. I am not sure how well this will translate to NBA opponents.

He also benefits from his NBA experience. He knows how to do things quickly that other bigs (like Amari) do not know how to do. Like how to roll properly to the rim. It stands out against sub-standard SL opposition but it won't stand out as much against NBA talent.

He's a good rebounder. That will translate
