Hi all, Gouki ran a historical fantasy draft a few years ago. I wanted to gauge interest in doing one this off season with 10 or 12 teams.

I have 10 fantasy sim spots on whatifsports. We could do the draft but instead of voting at the end, we?d pick teams of 12 and I can sim a playoff tourney with managers picking players, seasons and rotations.

I am open to rules. Two years ago we did non current, non top 75 players. We could do something like that, or pick any season of only current NBA players, only draft players on NBA champions, etc. Whatever people want

I can run it, collect rosters, and do what Gouki did before. But we need 10-12 players, or at least 8.

PF: Larry Nance Sr 92 / Blake Griffin 14
C: Lanier 77 (HOF) / Brad Daugherty 91 / Camby 07

I should be in
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

If you are going to sim it, then we need to pick the season which opens it up a bit more for one hit wonder type players (like IT4's one big year here or the younger active guys). Of course within whatever other parameters are chosen.

Looks like we?ve got 5, so halfway there. Any ideas on rules? This will only be my 2nd one

Yes, simming it is season based, so more emphasis on the individual season here. You also only need 48 mins per position, so you don?t need all 35 mpg guys.

So far we have:

SAB
CF4ever
Moranis

Timdawgg

Who

I?ve got 10 teams / sim spots on whatifsports, a plan for a playoff results system once teams are drafted, and a blueprint for the draft process from Gouki.

Can we get 4 more managers???

I might be interested, but I live in the Netherlands (six hours time difference).
If that's a problem or really complicates things I won't participate.

We would do the draft on weekdays. To accommodate you if you?re in Europe, we could draft weekdays at 10-12pm or 1-3pm so 4-6 or 7-9 your time, if others are good with it.

You can also submit picks to me if needed.

If you?re on board we have 8, and I have 10 sim spots to use in a big bracket. So we?re looking for 2 more.

I work WC hours on the East Coast, so for me 10-12 is ideal because I won?t really get distracted as commish.

If we can get 1 more manager, then it?s just 1 to go

I don't really care about the simulation aspect, but I'm up for some light drafting.
