I think at this point it's a little early to put San Antonio in there. I can see the Bucks or Hawks being better regular season teams than them.

Yeah, I was wondering about San Antonio after I posted that. It sounded right in my head but now I am not sure. They have quite a few young guys in their rotation. Do they have separation from Atlanta and/or Milwaukee?

Should it be 9 of the top 13 with Atlanta included? Or 9 of top 14 with Milwaukee included? Or disclude all 3 - San An, Atlanta, Milwaukee - and make it 8 of the top 11?

Maybe 8 of the top 11 is the most accurate.

Spurs

G: De'Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper
G: Devin Vassell, Stephon Castle
F: Harrison Barnes, Keldon Johnson
F: Jeremy Sochan, Julian Champagnie
C: Wemby, L Kornet

It is an impressive collection of talent on their bench. That perimeter trio of Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle and Keldon Johnson could be among the best in the league. Or maybe D Harper and S Castle struggle due to combined lack of shooting. That having them together makes it harder for one another rather than pairing them with a vet who can space the floor and let them operate.

Getting a decent backup center behind Wemby was a good move. Their backup centers have killed San Antonio these past 2 years.

Sochan is still a liability at PF. Great defender and good rebounder but lousy offensive player. They have to go small to get good offense on the floor. Or now big with Wemby at PF alongside Kornet. But usually it'll be to go small.

I'd don't love the mix of D Fox, D Harper, S Castle. Too much overlapping skill-sets. Especially Fox and Harper. Both ball dominant heliocentric PGs. None of the three are quality shooters. Mix could backfire. Could be a case of the sum of the team is less than their individual parts.
