Yes, I am trolling the loud majority of this board. I saw Kornet got 4 years 41 million, average 10 million + per year. Value of a good backup center. Paid by a reasonable franchise, San Antonio.
Money talks. A free agent paid less than Kornet is less valuable than Kornet.
Looney gets a two year 16 million dollar contract with the Pelicans. Looney worth 2 million a year less than Kornet.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

For years now I read post after post how bad Kornet is and how dumb the Celtics are to play him. At the beginning of this year people posted that Joe has to play Queta more and forget Kornet. Past years were worse.
The loud majority seem to be narrow minded and only look at athleticism and not other basketball factors.

Luke took a discount and took the vet min to play for us last year to try for a repeat. He deserves to get his bag. Thanks for the memories, Green Kornet!

Wild overpay, but super happy for Luke.

Kornet got his payday and I don't begrudge him that. He's a good player. He's not worth that kind of money to us but he was a valuable backup big for years and gave us solid depth during our championship run in 2024.

Looks like we might need to go bargain shopping for bigs. Not even sure if we can afford to bring back Big Al Horford.

He was bad the first few years. Then he figured it out. So?
