Kuzma plays SF most of the time.   I don't think he could play C, but maybe PF.

I was hoping we could have scrapped Houser for Wendell Carter but ORL addressed their shooting with Bane.

I too, would like to keep Houser, his value will be even higher if he gets regular minutes.   We desperately need bigs.

Why would Al come back if we are not competing for a title given his age.    Luke has to cash in, and get paid as much as he wants.

Man, I would not be surprised at all to see Simons gone. But, Brad is a smart guy, why would he take on Simons just to trade him? That makes no sense to me? He is way harder to move than Jrue! The only way I see Brad taking Simons is to make up for the lack of scoring with JT out. If you were moving Jrue for trade assets, then why Simons??

Jrue has a large contract. Simons is an expiring and I don?t think he will be harder to move.

I love Al . Who doesn?t? But I would rather see him on a team that can win big. ( not the Lakers, OKC, Dallas..)
We can?t expect him to start and starting Luke is pretty atrocious. We are going to be a bad team this coming year.
I want to see us take the hits that we have to and not try to band aid any problems. I don?t think Wendell Carter is a good player ( better than Kornet though I know!)
I want to see us only acquire guys that will help us win big long term. Hauser is a marksman and a passable defender. If possible I?d love to hold on to him.
Ultimately though , Tatum will never be the same player and I?m sure Brad knows this. I do trust Brad in this to give us the best chance. But I?m expecting a full on tank coming.

WOW!  I had this injury, NO I am not a basketball player, but I am a cameraman that shoots a lot of sports. I am now 63 and my ankle is great!! The injury happened right before I turned 30, it was a long recovery but, when it heals it should not limit him. Also, they have come a long way since I ruptured mine!! Don't want, someone to read this and think that is a given!! The chances are good that Tatum will be fine.

Two players in the history of the NBA have returned to 100% from this injury.

I'm intrigued, who were the players you mention and how was it determined that they returned 100% from their injury?

Presumably he?s referring to Durant and Dominique.

That said, it is still a rare injury in the NBA, so the sample size is small, but growing.  One should absolutely not count on a full Tatum recovery, but one should not rule it out either.

Should have been less absolute. But Wilkins and Durant are the only two to ever return to anything resembling peak form.

Those are the two I had in mind.

Ok...thanks.  Perhaps there were other NBA players but not at the same level as Wilkins and Durant.  Anyway, I'm hoping for a full recovery for JT!

Kobe was older, but he came back and still played well. Terrell Suggs came back after just 6 months. Aaron Rodgers, David Beckham, Brandon Brooks, D. Cousins, but he never looked the same, but I think it was more than just the achilles, his game deteriorated towards the end. Almost all other these injuries were before the New surgery they have. I think Tatum & Haliburton will set the new standard.
