At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Whether Gonzalez will join the Celtics at the 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas is unclear, as the 19-year-old is still playing overseas for Real Madrid in Spain. But according to multiple reports, Boston did sign a trio of undrafted rookies to participate on its Summer League squad: Penn State forward Zach Hicks, Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg and St. John?s guard Aaron Scott.

Who besides the rookies will play in summer league?  Have Q, JD, and Walsh had their fill of SL?  Not sure what they?d gain from it at this point. Baylor seems like he?s too old - he has kids old enough to play in Summer League. Who else??

From CSN:

The team should finalize this roster in the coming days before the Summer League begins on July 10, but here's our best guess for what the squad could look like, assuming Gonzalez joins them in Vegas at some point:

Baylor Scheierman
Jordan Walsh
Miles Norris (two-way contract)
Drew Peterson (two-way)
Hugo Gonzalez (rookie)
Amari Williams (rookie, two-way)
Max Shulga (rookie, two-way)
Zach Hicks (UDFA rookie)
Aaron Scott (UDFA rookie)
Ben Gregg (UDFA rookie)

Gary Washburn: Former #Grizzlies and #76ers big man Kenneth Lofton Jr. has been added to the #Celtics summer league roster, according to league source.  via x.com

Jay King: Jalen Bridges has been added to the Celtics summer league roster, I?ve been told, and will be going to camp with the team in the fall with a chance to make the roster. He played for Phoenix on a two-way contract as a rookie.  via x.com

Utah and Philly are about to tipoff on ESPN. Ace Bailey vs VJ Edgecombe. Two top 5 picks from this years draft.

Bailey is as advertised. Very aggressive offensively, can score from everywhere. High energy.

Springer is a bust. Doesn?t seem like he?s improved at all.

That pass was special by Isaiah Collier.

I don't know what to make of him. I half lie / half dislike him.

Jazz have a fun summer league team. I like what I?ve seen from Bailey and Clayton Jr.

VJ Edgecombe looks like he?s going to be a very good two-way guard.
