No love for Theiro?  A tweener wing who plays nutso defense and has a jumper that is coming along that sounds like us
His scouting report reads to me like Jordan Walsh if instead of going pro after his freshman year he just lifted weights for 3 years instead.

I am evenly split on the Frenchman and Kalkbrenner.

Both look like they have the ability to gain more muscle.  Kalk looks a bit stronger now, but slower.

Frenchy is a bit quicker, has a nastier edge, and has a better low post game.

But Kalk's outside shot is solid and smooth.  He needs to be wide open, but honestly that's the ONLY time he should be shooting a three anyway.

Kalk might be the better defender at the moment, but both look to be equivalent.

Fleming looks amazing in highlights, but if he struggles with the easy parts of the game (his weakness is literally "making the easy pass") he might take forever to develop.

Maxime Raynaud looks like a really good fit.

Jordan Walsh part 2. No thanks. Guy can't shoot at all.

Chaz Lanier is by far the best shooter left.

I'd love to see them draft Fleming or Raynaud.

My feeling though, is that Brad will draft Chaz Lanier.

Lanier is a bucket... Brad should go with who thinks is the best player. We need a big but it's always a mistake to draft for need...
I like Raynaud...

I'm with you on the preference. Penda is interesting too. Think drafting him and Gonzalez would be a bit odd, but you don't worry about fit here. Odds both pan out is small anyway

My order of preference would be:

Raynaud
Kalkbrenner
Flemming
Penda

The Obviously the top two make the most sense positionally, but Flemming I think will be a 4 or 5 early in his career and he has some intriguing upside. Penda is kind of duplicative but he may also be the highest guy left opon the board so I'd be fine with him.

Mostly I'm just intrigued with Raynaud's shooting. He looks legit from deep, they could use a guy like that with KP gone. I'd be happy with anyone of these guys, which means Stevens will pick some 6'0 point guard who can't shoot.

I'd go Raynaud but Stevens will go with Kalkbrenner.

Watch the pump fake, drive and dunk at :36.

He's got much better touch around the rim thank Kalk.  Better handles.  And a smoother outside stroke.

He looks like he's got a lot of Chet Holmgren's game.

You don't have to sell me.  Raynaud is also a better rebounder and he's more than a year younger.  Unfortunately Stevens can't get away from his mid major nature.

Raynaud or Fleming be great
these are my top 2 choices as well. raynaud i think will be the better nba player, but fleming does have some excellent skills, such as 3 pointers.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
