I think there is a deal to be made with th bulls. They send us ball and vucevic. We give them Simmons, queta and a first and 2 2nds

Ball.    Pp
White.   Schiermen
Brown.    Hauser
Horford.    Neing
Vucevic.     Kornet

Yeah, nothing close to this will happen. They're not adding salary and giving up picks for lesser players. They're going to shed salary and acquire a vet big or shed enough to resign Al.

Milwaukee seems very desperate to try to convince Giannis they can win next year. Maybe they?re the team who tries to trade for Simons?

Celts would have to take Kuzma back, which of course isnt ideal, but maybe Milwaukee can sweeten the pot with their 2026 1st (least favorable of MIL/NOP) and Tyler Smith?

Can they get Bobby Portis instead of Kuzma?

Imagine a backcourt of Lillard and Simons? The defense would be legendary.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They played together in Portland but I don?t have the stats handy for their defense when they were on the court together.

I don't know. A team that prioritizes shooting....could just keep the shooter. Hes one of the 20 players in the nba to make 200 3s last year. Hes also one of the 4 who shot 90% from the ft line...
Shooters shoot as they say

But a 35 year old Lillard coming off a major injury. That?s not going to be pretty. Would be great for the Celtics.

A couple trades built on the same thing:

Mavs get Simons, Celtics get PJ Washington and Naji Marshall.

Kings get Simons, Mavs get Malik Monk, Celtics get PJ Washington and Devin Carter.

I?d love to get PJ Washington. Maybe now that the Mavs have Flagg, they?d be willing to move PJ. Brandon Williams and Klay Thompson are currently the starting guards. That can?t be ideal for Kidd.

Yeah, with Kyrie out and Flagg on the team, they really need to swap PJ for a guard, which is where my ideas come from.  I am not the biggest of PJ fans, but he would also be a better fit for us than Simons, so it feels like a deal that could reasonably happen.

I have read every post in this thread! I now really want to keep AS! I really want to see how he does as a Celtic! I am now actually praying they don't trade him! I think his offense will be a blast to watch!! If Joe can teach him the magic of defense I will be so excited!!! See, this is the kind of stuff that gets me so excited for the 25/26 season. Let's Go AS, show everyone they were wrong about you and become a Great Celtic's all star!! Then when JT comes back we have 4 all stars!!! JT, JB, AS, DW.

After digging more into Simon's highlights and articles , I come to find out he was one of the most clutch players just 2 seasons ago

Quote
Anfernee Simons was one of the most clutch players in the NBA this season, but the Portland Trail Blazers guard never received a vote for Clutch Player of the Year.

The honor ultimately went to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who averaged the same amount of points as Simons did in the clutch (4.4), but in 43 appearances. Simons only played in 18 clutch games for the Blazers this season.

Trail Blazers? Anfernee Simons Excluded From Clutch Player of the Year Voting -

He is also a career 88% FT shooter which helps in the clutch.

He could be a great option to have on the floor to take pressure of JT and JB if he stays long term... still only 26
