How disappointed are people going to be if BOS trades back for pick 51 (for example) and 2 seconds in 2033 or something like that?

Wow, way more than even my hot take.  BOS is looking for 2-way players.  Hugo to Spain and 2nders for 2-way slots.  It looks to me that BOS did not see these players as ready as some on here thought.

Don't see these second round picks being used for anything but sweetners for teams to take bad contracts off the books. Like Niang or someone else. I just don't see them having any real value other than that.

But these 2 tonight are going to be made because they haven't even announced the Niang trade.

Not sure getting rid of Tillman is worth it, unless you can get a better end of the bench player for the same or less amount.

But yet, Niang needs traded to sign Gonzalez, Horford, and Kornet.

He is out of shape. He sucks on defense. He is a dirty player. Has zero attributes other than being able to hit a 3 now or then.

But I don't think he will be the one shipped out. It will be Sam.

I'm enjoying these Amari Williams highlights. He's huge but moves well. Good rim protector. He looks like he, physically, ready to play in the NBA (which is good because he's 23). I also read he had more assists than any center in Kentucky history which is pretty wild.

Could be a nice pick.

Agreed. Niang is a solid 10th man in the NBA. I think Tillman is finished as a NBA player once this contract ends. He looks nothing like the player he was in Memphis when he was a solid backup center. Physically, he just doesn't look right. He looks kaput.

Problem with trading Niang is nobody wants to pay $8mil for a 10th man. That is a minimum contract slot.

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired the No. 36 pick in the draft from the Minnesota Timberwolves and selected Adou Thiero out of Arkansas.

During the course of Thursday, the Lakers traded up from No. 55 to No. 45 and then No. 45 to No. 36 to put  themselves in position to select Thiero.

Why did they bother going to such lengths to secure Theiro? The guy can't shoot at all. He is not going to be able to play in LAL. He is not a fit for what they what they need. I don't get it.
