Worth a flyer on a vet minimum contractI don't see any point in bringing in a player for 2025-26 just because he might be a little better than Queta or Garza. The question has to be is it expected that the player can have a meaningful role on the team in 2026-27 and beyond, when the team is contending for a title again. I don't see it with Ben Simmons. Let a team like WAS or CHA or someone like that give him a try.the Celtics are obviously not tanking, so they should be adding players for next year that help the team while still keeping flexibility long term. If you aren't going to trade Brown, then you should add more useful players even if just for next year.No need to poison the locker room. I don't get us not topping Indy's offer for Huff, though. He looks ideal for our team, on a long-term minimum.

Jay Huffwould have been a better choice than Garza
Everyone needs to remember that Jokic was drated 41st. Hopes for a hidden gem are there.
Quote Everyone needs to remember that Jokic was drated 41st. Hopes for a hidden gem are there.I think comparing him to Jokic is a wild leap of logic or faith. I agree there is some good potential there and he has elite size. His offensive game is not there and that is what makes Joker so dangerous. If a guy can shoot you can play off him for the pass. You can't do that with the Jokic, you will be able to do it with Amari, though he does a little drive threat that may surprise some.

Amari's passing in the video is exceptional. His basketball shot is that of a soccer player, awful.
