That is only 24.4 million a season. That is a steal for Houston.

Terry Rozier is making more than that this season.

Mo Wagner just tore his ACL in December & Walker is a turnstile on defence.

So what does that make Anfernee Simons?

Pretty sure Mo Wagner hates the C?s after they dumped him, too.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Not sure about Simons, but Walker had a 121 defensive rating last season. That is especially horrendous when you consider he was only guarding opposing bench players.

On a different topic, I really have to laugh at what a hypocrite Lebron James is. He has recently commented on how he is watching the Lakers front office to see what they are going to do to put a team around him that can deliver another title (for his massive ego). Meanwhile he opts in to the final year of his contract worth $50M+ with no concession at all on less money to give said front office some flexibility to acquire a badly needed center as well as some quality role players. Meanwhile, Lebron continues making more money outside of his salary to add to his current net worth of a billion dollars, yes, a billion. If he actually cared about the title, he could take the vet minimum and never miss a dollar. What a fraud.

De?Andre Ayton is working on a buyout from Portland. I forget if it?s being over the first or second apron that prevents you from signing a buyout player who makes more than the MLE, but if we are eligible to sign him, are we interested?

Agreed. He is a hypocrite and frankly at this point in his career he is not about championships, he is just building his brand and business empire. Good for him, but spare me with him actually caring about winning or doing what is best for the Lakers.

I was just about to post this.

Yes they should be all over Ayton. Even if you do not love his game or attitude, beggars can?t be choosers. He?s still easily better than Queta and Tillman now. Probably also better than Kornet.

Totally, but he will presumably look at playing time where he lands, and our depth chart would have to be attractive.

Would be shocked if he went anywhere besides the Lakers or Warriors.
