This George for Markkanen trade makes no sense.  Markkanen's contact is around $5M less per season but runs for 4 more vs. only 3 more for Paul George.  Why would Utah take on a contract with more per season even if for one less season.  Both players have durability issues but at least Markkanen is young enough to have a chance to have a decent remaining career.

Obviously a separate thread, but mentioning the Durant to Houston for Green, Brooks, 10, and 5 2nd rounders here as it is an offsrason move.
