Does anybody care?

How do fans feel about Brad Marchand?  Are you rooting for him like Ray Bourque, or is he the enemy?

If the Oilers lose in the Cup Finals for the third straight year, does that diminish Connor McDavid?

I consider myself a hockey fan.  Not currently playing anymore but have many years of regular pick up hockey.  I am interested, I check the scores, but I am not watching.

As to Marchand, I have no problem with him, one of my favorite Bruins of the recent era, but I am not rooting for Florida.  Would rather see Edmonton win.

As to McDavid, you can't put it one one player in hockey.  You really can't in any sport but less so hockey than say football (QB) or basketball (team's best player).  I think McDavid is everything he is made out to be.

I watched the end of the first game and the first overtime of the second game.  Honestly forgot it was on last night.  Sort of feeling the same way about the NBA Finals.  Which is weird because that Indy/Knicks series was probably the most "non-Celtics} playoffs I've watched since Jordan retired (the first and second times).

I hate the Panthers. Really want to see them lose. I like Marchand, but can't root for him on the Panthers.

I don't hate the Panthers, I'm just sick of their recent success.  The only teams I truly hate are the Canadiens and the Rangers.

Unless Edmonton makes a comeback, looks like Florida will repeat.

I know he's not the only reason and he was not bad the 1st period (defense let him down) but Edmonton need to try and get a better goalie than Stuart Skinner. Guy is just wildly inconsistent and prone to meltdowns at crucial moments. It's not often he can "steal" a game for them.

LOL and just like that, 3-0 deficit is now a 3-3 tie  :P

Ballsy win for Edmonton.  Especially after giving up the late goal to send it to OT.
