I am not concerned that this ends up being a long term problem, like with Robert Williams. I have no way to know of course, it just seems like when RWill's knee was sore, he could hardly get up and down the court. With Brown, you could see he was laboring, it was clear he did not have his full athleticism, but in general, he could still play at a pretty high level. This feels like something they can fix, that will heal. And that Brown will be back to normal.
With this talk of trading Brown to DAL or SAN for current and future picks, you have to wonder how this impacts those potential discussions. Even without this injury, I feel like there is only a small chance they trade Brown this offseason, but there is a chance. If they can trade Brown for a package including Flagg, I am OK with that. It is a risk, but I am emotionally prepared for big changes. I would not be so excited to trade Brown for Harper and whatever. This is not based on rigorous evaluation, more just gut feel.
