Let me start by saying I like JB and do not necessarily want to trade him but for Bam I probably would.....The Heat wouldn't but they have coveted KD for awhile lol

Retool in hopes of Tatum coming back healthy in 26/27. Also gets under 2nd apron.

In= KD and John Collins
OUT= Bam, Wiggins, Duncan, 2025 1st round, 2026 2nd round
Finally get Kd but do lose Bam but he has regressed some. The addition of Collins makes up some for the loss of Bam. Leaving them with starting 5 of rozier,herro,KD, Jovic, collins

In= Brown, 2025 1st Miami, 2031 1st round Boston
Out= KD
Suns get good value for an aging KD. The trio of Beal, Brown, and Booker anchor the team but will need help which is similar to current but younger and picks

In= Jrue, 2026 1st BOS, 2027 1st BKN
Out= Collins
Jazz get Jrue which is an interesting fit with sexton, Markkanen, and young players in george and Kessler. Ultimately the Jazz get 2 first round pick which perhaps they flip

In= Duncan, 2026 2nd MIA
Out= 2027 1st round
Nets need players and Duncan white 31 has value and could be flipped later on

A few initial thoughts:

1. John Collins is not worth Jrue Holliday, much less Jrue Holliday plus 2 1sts.
2. John Collins value is roughly the same as Wiggins IMO. That means the Heat had to trade one of the best bigs in the NBA for a 36 year old, plus a 1st round pick. That would make Durant's value about the same as Doncic, which I don't think it is.
3. I love getting Bam for the Cs, but I don't think there is any way an old school guy like Riley would trade his conference rival their best player.

This is a very hard no for me. I'd straight up rather have Brown than Adebayo. I think he's just plainly a better player. But also adding two firts round picks? No.

I do think there's a deal to be made with Utah though, either Jrue or Porzingis. But sorry giving up 2 firsts for Collins is absurd, I'd rather do it for something like Kessler + Sexton.

I might have valued KD a little high, but Jrue's value is very debatable. From what Ive seen/read from other fan bases is that they do not value jrue as much as most of us or the Celtics. Many see jrue has negative value and would take pick(s) to dump.. . Which I somewhat get as he is getting older and has a decent size salary.

As much as I like JB, I think Bam is a better fit and just as or more valuable than JB

This trade also saves Celtics $20mil. That's why the picks may be needed as well

Finally, I think John Collins is a decent starter and big man. The comparison to Wiggins value is fair and I think both are worth a 1st rounder.

So 1pick for Collins and if jrue costs a pick to dump, that's where the 2 picks for Collins comes from.

I would like to keep the trio of JB, JT, and DW if possible. If there?s a way we can turn PP and Jrue for a guy like KD would you do it? KD could be a placeholder for JT as he rehabs. KD/JB could be a short term lethal duo to keep Boston in contention?

With Boston being over the 2nd apron they cannot combine salaries to match KDs. They would need to make a trade before hand that sheds like $20mil.

That was the starting purpose of this trade but then I got carried away on the trade machine lol

Ultimately keeping JB and white is best option and try to move KP and Jrue but will be tricky. Have to be creative: looke for multi team trades with space or trade exceptions.
