This team is brain dead. Jrue and DWhite with some of the dumbest shot selection you will ever see. And then I watched Jaylen turn down a wide open mid range for a 28 foot Al Horford 3 in the 2nd, all i could do was laugh

Joe Schmoe is still not an NBA coach, he doesnt make a single adjustment its a shame. Why hasnt he lit into the refs about their one sided officiating? Do something, anything
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Celtics lost this series due to JT AND KP injuries.

That said, Knicks are not good enough, even at full strength, to win a chip this year.

Um the Celtics went down 3-1 with a healthy Tatum. I can?t deal with people that are going to use this as an excuse. The KP illness has certainly been a factor though.

True but if Tatum were healthy I?d have given them a better chance to take the series.  Without KP they weren?t going to beat any of the remaining teams.

Tough ending to the year, but the second this one ends, my head is 100% future.  What will Brad do? How will JT?s rehab play out?  If KP is here, does he finally recover from what ails him?

They may have lost in 5 with a healthy Tatum. Don?t wanna hear it. They choked away 2 20 point leads at home with a healthy Tatum and lost game 4 with a healthy Tatum playing one of his better games.

*Tatum was never healthy and recovering from a severe wrist bone bruise in his shooting hand.

I get that extreme pessimism and negativity is your schtick for whatever reason, but at least get your facts right.

This is pure delusion. He was healthy enough to be out there and those inexcusable almost unimaginable losses he was a part of.
Gotta love it. But when we beat the heat without jimmy butler, the Cavs without Donovan Mitchell and the pacers without haliburton all was good right?

Both can be right. Games 1 and 2 helped them lose this series as did not having JT tonight. Is what it is. We get it.

we said this when it happened. we are in the SEMIS.

you CANNOt blow two 20 point leads and expect to come back and win series WITHOUT JT. you can maybe blow 1 game. not 2 or 3. we blew 3 technically.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

This is so hard to watch. These guys need to put their man shorts on and give it their best in the 2nd half.

BTW, Joe nice time out called there just as we hit a 3 and then the after timeout play is an offensive foul. Genius.

Boy, logic is really hard for some people.

By your logic, KP is still out there playing, too - so can't use that as an excuse, am I right? Bulletproof.

Also, I forget - did Miami, Cleveland, and Indy all sweep us in the regular season and then we only beat them because of injuries? No, because those are clearly different situations, Sherlock. We won the conference by 14 games last year; it didn't matter what happened last year we were running through the East. The only difference and rationale that makes any sense of why a historical dominant regular season over the Knicks ends in this outcome is due to injuries that 80% of our starting lineup is dealing with.

(Also, I see that you conveniently forget to mention that we were missing KP for 90% of the Eastern Conference games. Funny how that works.)

Everything through green tinted glasses. Yes the Celtics were phenomenal last season and won a title. It was the easiest path I?ve ever seen and no with this teams history I?m not guaranteeing they don?t struggle more along the way had they actually played any real competition

I think the one thing coming out of this game is that any second thoughts Brad may have had about making major changes this offseason are now gone.  Probably at least 3 or 4 of the 9 rotation players are gone
I doubt it. Nobody wants our trash, only our gems and Brad will not give them away.
there's a market for Jrue and Zinger.  Kornet will get a bigger offer than Brad will match.  Al will likely retire or move on to a contender if he plays another year.  Hauser's very likely playing his last game in green
Hauser might be playing his last game in the NBA, hes that bad. He literally brings nothing to the table but shooting and for someone who only shoots wide open shots hes pretty crap at it
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

So true. So many blind fans. Can?t benefit from injuries one year then use it as an excuse the next.

Apples =/= oranges.

Get at me when any of those teams dominated their matchups with us and the entire conference like we did last year, then we can talk. Until then, these are dramatically different situations that have zero impact on what is happening right now.'

(And, again somehow, we conveniently forget that we were missing KP ourselves!)

Good god dude, who literally cares that we dominated the Knicks this regular season?if anything that makes this complete abhorrent failure even more embarrassing.

Also the Celtics were the best team last year and deserved the title. It was the easiest path I?ve ever seen and we drastically benefited from other teams injuries?why can?t you accept it?
