Knicks have had several guys play way above their heads in this series...Robinson, McBride and Bridges will turn back into pumpkins vs Indiana.

Disagreed?none of those players played over their heads and frankly the Knicks haven?t even been great in this series?you can blame this series on the game 1 and 2 complete and utter inexcusable gag jobs

Robinson and Bridges have played over their heads.

Bridges has played worse then he?s capable of in this series and all season, but whatever helps you sleep at night

Sure thing sport

He?s literally below his season averages in this series and his season averages were lower then his 2 previous seasons?but ok champ.

I don't feel like arguing with you but Bridges carried the Knicks in game 2 in the third quarter and won the game with his defense. He will be even more of a non factor vs the Pacers
You?re wrong?.
They envisioned much more when they sold the farm to get him and he?s produced at a much higher level in this league consistently?he had 1 really good quarter in this series and you?re telling me he?s over performed?it?s looney toons

Celtics lost this series due to JT AND KP injuries.

That said, Knicks are not good enough, even at full strength, to win a chip this year.

Um the Celtics went down 3-1 with a healthy Tatum. I can?t deal with people that are going to use this as an excuse. The KP illness has certainly been a factor though.

True but if Tatum were healthy I?d have given them a better chance to take the series.  Without KP they weren?t going to beat any of the remaining teams.

Tough ending to the year, but the second this one ends, my head is 100% future.  What will Brad do? How will JT?s rehab play out?  If KP is here, does he finally recover from what ails him?

I think Jrue is the logical piece to let go in the offseason. Hopefully some contender shows some interest in him. Or wouldn?t it be crazy if we traded Jrue for Smart??

Holiday is cooked. Trade him before other teams notice.

Put Hauser in. He?s a good defender and maybe he can make a shot!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Brunson owns Derrick white. Just overpowers him. Jrue is too slow to guard him.

Yeah, for all the talk about how good the backcourt defense is, they've been really bad against Brunson this series. White in particular has looked ineffective regardless of who he has been guarding.

JB is going to be up to what, 6 TO?s now..  :blank:

He's having to try to do everything himself because nobody else even got off the plane.  I get that it's frustrating watching the guy force his offense and turn the ball over but he's doing it because he's alone.

If I want the team to do one thing, at least screen OG off the guy.  Asking him to go one-on-one with the Knicks' best perimeter defender while the rest of the Celtics catch their beauty sleep is just setting him up for failure.

I think the one thing coming out of this game is that any second thoughts Brad may have had about making major changes this offseason are now gone.  Probably at least 3 or 4 of the 9 rotation players are gone

Disappointed in Pritchard.  I was really expecting him to come out smoking.
Yup

And this is why JB is not a primary playmaker. He simply does not have a good enough handle.

It's Miami Game 7 all over again without JT.
