Luke was an absolute beast tonight! This will be a game to remember from him. He changed what was a tight game into a blowout with his defense! That?s exactly what was needed tonight!
A few more in you Luke?

He deserves another contract from Brad, even if it's another vet min. THIS MAN DESERVES TO STAY IN THE NBA

I have to admit that I tend to underestimate Luke. No more after this game.

Start Kornet. KP to the bench. Need Luke?s energy to start the game.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

100%

Please keep Q on tap as well. We've been killed on the glass and in the paint. He might help.

I've been wanting a Kornet jersey for awhile now, but now I'm worried he's priced himself out of the vet minimum (and thus will leave).

I have to admit that I tend to underestimate Luke. No more after this game.

I'm guessing the opposite will happen now, where we're expecting a beast-like performance every night and disappointed when it's not there.  Luke has had an amazing season, but I wouldn't want to lean on him too hard.

we just need all hands on deck. move the ball. no iso no ball hogging. play D. hope we can overcome the refs and brunson. need queta to play and help on D with al and luke.

dont need any heroes just need solid games from white, jrue, PP, hauser, al, kornet, brown.

Agreed. If he played like that every night he wouldn?t be a vet minimum player. If  Celtics are going to win tomorrow night they will need Porzingis to step up and that?s looking bad. The Celts are essentially missing Tatum and Porzingis which is tough to overcome. Kornet has done more than expected to keep the series alive now they need someone else to step up.

My own evaluation of Luke went like this:

1.  I liked him when we traded for him.  I spoke the Green Kornet nickname into existence.  I thought he was a really solid pick-and-role defender who provided nice pop from outside.

2.  I soured on Luke in 2022 and 2023.  He bounced around in 2022, and it was frustrating to see the team not upgrade the center position when they seemingly had some better options.

3.  2024 I started to appreciate him more.  He seemed to be in the proper role on our team.

4.  Full-on love affair, particularly when he's dunking on everybody.  He's a smart guy, and a likeable one.  My daughter (13) always likes to ask questions like, "if they weren't athletes, which Celtic would most likely be friends with?"  The answer is clearly Luke for me.  He knows his role, brings great chemistry, and seems to have an awesome sense of humor.
