STILL (SOMEHOW) ALIVE!!!!!

ITS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a feeling we might win this one, and possibly one more.

I've found often - especially in the playoffs - when teams are missing a key player a lot of the time other guys step up, the ball moves more, and teams can actually play better in the short term.

I think we saw an example of this last season when Haliburton was out for Indiana - I actually think they played better after he got injured.

I feel teams sometimes get too comfortable / lazy with the gameplan and just kinda start depending on their star guy to do everything while other guys stand around, and sometimes those key injuries can shake things up and help.

I dont have much confidence in Boston winning three straight and taking the series, but I can see us winning one more game and pushing it to 7 games.  I actually think our roster is deep enough that we match up pretty well with them even without Tatum.

One down. Now go get another one Friday.

Going to be some tight buttholes in Knick land in Game 6.

So, is it more because of the players playing their hearts out or because of Joe's different tactics?

Little column A, little column B.

They were definitely playing without pressure and with nothing to lose, as they weren't expected to win. So that definitely helped. I think this also helped with shot selection, as well as them making a few.

However, benching KP in favor of more Luke AND going away from the double big lineups were clearly moves that should've been made multiple games ago. Also, the JB on Brunson move was another one that made so much sense from the get-go when he was easily frying both White and Jrue.

Went down 40-32 early in the 4th. Since then, ended on a 95-62 run.

That was a DOMINANT 2nd half with the season on the line. 68-43. Excellent on both ends.

What a win!! JB and DW were great. Especially JB on Brunson but MVP has to be KORNET the Korn Dog!! Career Game!.

In a side now.. which team is KP playing for? Absolutely terrible.

Boston limited the NY offense in the second half. They rebounded and made the knicks take tough shots.

NY missed all those BS fade away late in the shot clock attempts also

JB had an excellent game. 26pts, 12ast, 8rebs and most importantly, only 2 TOs.  8)

After JB's defense on Luka essentially won him the Finals MVP last year, it should be considered a war crime that we waited this long to employ this. Because honestly with Tatum out it makes less sense now than it did before, as you're putting more onto JB when he's now expected to score and playmake more.
