Could we get Bradley Beal?

Zinger & Jrue for Beal. Something like that.

I am pretty sure we cannot combine Porzingis with another contact to bring back one bigger contract, due to the second apron restrictions.

I don't think we should trade him.  Why sell low?  Sure, he only plays 60 or so games per year but I still like his game.  I assume they can figure out this illness thing before the start of next season (if they can't, he will never pass a physical).  Yes, his minutes need to be heavily managed in the regular season but so what.  If we can make a good deal (whatever that means), sure, but no need to dump him in my view.

An interesting option could be Cleveland.

If they are down on their current core and believe they need to shake up their double big configuration, Porzignis could be a strong alternative to Jarrett Allen. A skilled big man who can score inside, midrange and outside. Fits their offense nicely.

A swap of J Allen for Porzingis. Boston may need to throw additional assets into the mix. Maybe Hauser. Or maybe a 1st round pick.

J Allen for Porzingis and Hauser? Feels like a deal that could work out for both teams.

Allen played all 82 games last season, is really good near the rim, and offers decent rim protection. We would also shed Hauser's salary in this trade. Porziginis and Allen salary are about equal. Porzingis gives them outside shooting, stretch big.

I don't think KP has much, if any, value. He just doesn't play enough. He's played something like half the possible games he was eligible for over the last two years.

If KP is traded I think I think it's mostly a straight salary dump, maybe you get a small asset back.

At this point with Porzingis, it's about cutting as much salary as possible and not taking on any future salary.

If we can't find a suitor, but are successful shedding Jrue and Hauser and are able to get below the apron, then I'd [shockingly] approach him with an extension offer, but at like half of what he's making now. Dude has to know his days of making $30M/yr are behind him. He can stay and contend with the Celtics or spend the rest of his days with a bottom-feeder. There's no way he's going to be injured or sick for every playoff run...right??

You are correct. 2nd apron teams can NOT combine player salaries to match a larger contract.

If we end up moving Hauser without taking any salary back, then it becomes a lot easier to combine the two salaries to bring in a larger one. We can do so if the result of the trade brings us below the 2nd Apron. The team we are trading with might not quite make the 125% rule, but a 3rd team could always be brought in to take on a smaller salary for a 2nd.

An example would be: we trade KP and Jrue at a combined $63M for a player making $45M. Since the team sending the $45M player doesn't quite make the 125% threshold, they add a $6M player (or two $3M players) to the deal, but send them to a 3rd team. With Hauser also gone, we actually clear $28M, so the result would be well below the 2nd apron.

moving Hauser won't get the team under the second apron.  C's need to move a bigger contract like Jrue or Zinger to get under.

I don't think you understood my post. You can aggregate players while over the 2nd apron if the result of the trade gets you below the 2nd apron.

In my example, trading Hauser doesn't get you below the 2nd apron, but it clears a chunk of salary allowing us to then aggregate the salaries of Jrue/KP to take back one larger contract.

Also, it's just an example, I highly doubt we are going to do this.

Might see something with Golden State with a sign and trade with Kuminga, Moody, Davis or Podz involving Holiday or Porzingis

Exactly.  I hope what they get for him is a cure for whatever this is.
