Vs. Orlando, Porzingis was 2-17 from 3 (about 12%).  Everyone else excluding Porzingis was 41% combined.  Porzingis was 41.2% from 3 in the regular season so he was way below his average.  Other than Porzingis, the Celtics actually shot very well/efficiently from 3.  They only averaged 31.2 3PA per game (well below the regular season average), but that is OK with me.  Take what they give you and be efficient.  If BOS shoots around 40% from 3, no matter if they take 30 or 50, that is going to be tough to beat.

But what the heck happened to Porzingis' shot?

It's funny KP definitely doesn't shy away from playing physically, he's just way better when he doesn't have to.

We for sure have too apply serious ball pressure on Jalen, holiday is suited for guarding big guys like towns but can chase Jalen around..we need Payton too to apply pressure, brown can guard him too he can also wear him down with his size. miles bridges as a defender doesn't scare me Tatum will move him around easily not a physical guy, just long arms with good reach. KP in this series, I wanna see how he plays he always does well against the Knicks.

Can't let Knicks and Hart get extra possessions with rebounding.

Yes, don't turn it over and don't let them get ORebs.  If we don't lose points off turnovers + 2nd chance points, hard to see how we lose.

I'm feeling big games from Jaylen and Porzingis tonight. The focus will be on JT from NY's defense, and I think those two will "leak out" and get open looks most of the night and knock them down. Jaylen should also hopefully play great defense against Brunson.

Let's GO C's. Blow them out in game 1 and put the fear in them. Need KP to hit some 3s early to get going and Pritch this series you need to come through early and often. I expect our starters to do their usual thing and Big Al is a key to breaking their back with open 3s and offensive rebounds.

Yeah would love to see KP getting his shooting touch back.  That, and getting a healthy Jrue back will be interesting to see tonight.

Make Brunson work all game. I will be surprised if the Knicks get even one.
