21 turnovers leading to 26 points. You lose by 2. JT and JB looked like they did a few years back in the playoffs turning it over at will.
One of the worst quarters of Celtics basketball I have watched in the 3rd.

13 turnovers between Tatum and Brown. That's what happens when you put your head down and try to dribble through multiple defenders.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

1. KP has been awful most of this season.
2. 21 turnovers leading to 26 points. You lose by 2. JT and JB looked like they did a few years back in the playoffs turning it over at will.
3. One of the worst quarters of Celtics basketball I have watched in the 3rd.
4. Can't in Orlando.

Probably looking at a tied series coming back to Boston.

That was supposed to be ?series? in the first sentence, right? 😉

Other than that, agree with all.

Yes. Terrible in the series

I do find it interesting that Orlando attempted more 3s than we did (32 vs. 27). In fact I think by halftime we had only attempted 7 total. Was it something Orlando did or were we too scared to shoot?

The big bad Mickey Mouse magic were the best team in the league at defending the 3, so tough! Celtics will be lucky to win another game this season

I'm convinced you're a parody account at this point

Didn?t pick up on the fact I was joking? Yikes

Im still trying to figure out how white being mauled on on a clear foul on Orlando was called out in us.

Simple. The NBA didn't want a sweep

But they wanted a sweep in last years eastern conference finals? Interesting. Why bother watching if it?s rigged?

Just frustrating because Boston continues to be Orlando's best offense by playing slow and turning it over.

Tonight should have been a double digit win. Orlando is not good. It all Boston. Its guys not showing up (KP). Your stars playing like its 2021, 22 and 23 turning it over.

Better win Game 4. Celtics really haven't put forth a really strong effort this series yet. Going to mess around and be tied heading to Boston.

Magic really dropped confetti after a mid series win by a bucket? So lame

Just got back from the game.  I was hoping that my streak of us winning every playoff game I've attended would trump my streak of us losing every game I've attended in Orlando.  Apparently not.

I look forward, in a way, to reading the thread on this.  In person, it seemed like this was just an inept performance for most of the game and a lot of self-inflicted wounds.  I arrived just at tip-off, and was surprised to see Tatum (and Brown) playing, so thought we would be good.  Went to halftime thinking we had gotten things under control, but . . .

It seemed like there should have been more than .3 left on that last play, and that Porzingis was fouled on the inbounds, but it was tough to tell with no replay.  I know that Boston should not have needed a last-second basket (or call) to win this, and probably didn't deserve to win it, but I'm not sure how that didn't end up with free throws and a chance at OT.

It has been made clear that the refs are going to give the Magic the whistle. Every game.

Same. Very angry about how that 3rd quarter was played.

Orlando are reminiscent of Pat Riley's Knicks in the 1990s. His view was if you foul on every possession multiple eventually the refs will stop calling it and you will get away with fouls. Thus allowing NY to play much more physical basketball than other teams were allowed.

It worked for NY in the early to mid 90s. It worked for Miami in the mid to late 90s. It works today for Orlando and for Houston. They are allowed much more physical contact because of the consistency of their physicality forcing refs to call the game differently.

Boston need to adjust to Orlando's physicality. The onus is on Boston. Not the refs. Games are called differently depending on opponent and refs. So long as the individual game is called consistently during that individual game, there is no issue. You have to adjust to the way the game is reffed. Refereeing is not consistent night to night. You just want it to be consistent throughout each individual night.

Btw, what does Craig have to do to play? Not like Hauser is doing anything. It?s reminding me of 2023 also where nothing was working at all but hey let?s continue to not play a guy we traded for for a potential spark (Muscala)
