Tatum played and they still lost? SMH

Tatum is the reason they lost.

I?m not sure what you were watching if that?s your takeaway. He was the only reliable offense all night. Has to better control the turnovers, but in no world is it reasonable to blame JT.

This loss is much more on the bigs, bench, and particularly KP, who killed us on both ends all night long.

Joe also has his fair share of the blame. He stuck way too long with the double big lineup, which clearly wasn?t working and was still giving up a ton of offensive boards. He also stuck way too long with KP and should?ve went with the smaller one big lineup with just Al. Has to be less dogmatic and more able to quickly adjust.

He simply shot us out of the game. He didn't drive and he didn't pass. The ball stopped dead with him.

He took 3 bad shots beginning of the 11-point 3d quarter that started us losing a 10-point lead and then jacked up contested, long 3's in the 4th quarter after dribbling with his head down and not even trying to move the ball. Yes, Hauser and Porzingis played badly, but we win with better offensive execution. Then again, there's Joe and his genius coaching.

Im still trying to figure out how white being mauled on on a clear foul on Orlando was called out in us.

Simple. The NBA didn't want a sweep

And Orlando has always been a tough match up for us. Yes i would have loved to see a sweep but i know that?s a very hard thing to accomplish.

Agreed. I picked C's in 5. But also, despite all the bad we did the game ended 95-93. ORL really needed us to be terrible AND major help from the refs just to squeak by. They still can't score, but we just need to make shots and better decisions.

Would be nice if we just came out fast and blew them out. Hasn't happened yet

So - anyone want to explain why they didn?t put more time on the clock for the final possession? Apparently the refs are saying they ?couldn?t review? it - but they literally fo that all the time.

They can look at the Bancheri backcourt violation call but not that?

Like I said above, NBA called and said they didn't want a sweep  :P

I'm half joking but lets be real, at this point also with all the gambling and such I'm more convinced than ever some of this stuff is rigged. Yes we played bad too but the refs were on one this entire game.

Banchero is getting close to Tatum's levels. Just needs bit more refinement in his long 2 and 3 point shooting. Orlando have a special player there.

TP for the positivity. Now let?s hope we?re both correct and the Celts come out blazing in game 4!

KP missed shots he normally makes. Not a good game for him. Not a great series for him so far as he had a dud in game 1 too.

They feel due. Even in Game 1 most of the game was shaky and close. I know Orlando is physical and good defensively but at some point we'll hit our shots at a hot pace and put up 110+ in a big win. Also would be nice if Jrue comes back and we're fully healthy again.

Yup. He?s a more physical version of JT. His mid range game is special, and he can easily get to the rim as well.

I can?t believe people are blaming JT for this loss. 🤷‍♂️

He certainly could have done better in the 2nd half, and I hated his shot selection in the 4th. But yeah blaming him and not KP and Hauser among others is foolish. Those two have also been pretty atrocious so far this series besides KP's Game 2.

KP is definitely being bothered by Orlando?s extra physical defense. I mean with all the bruises he?s endured, it?s possible he?s overthinking his every move. He needs to watch tape and see how he can adjust. WCJ and even Cole Anthony have been allowed to just manhandle our guys with no calls. I think we?ll be fine come game 4. We missed Jrue big time today.

we can win EASILY without JRUE ZERO EXCUSES>

JT played dumb dumb dumb. if wide open and u are hot? SHOOT! stop shooting contested fadeaways when we SHOULD be moving the ball to the best possible shot or open man. just dumn ISO garbage

1. KP has been awful most of this season. Now in the playoffs he is even worse.
2. 21 turnovers leading to 26 points. You lose by 2. JT and JB looked like they did a few years back in the playoffs turning it over at will.
3. One of the worst quarters of Celtics basketball I have watched in the 3rd.
4. Can't in Orlando.

Probably looking at a tied series coming back to Boston.

That was supposed to be ?series? in the first sentence, right? 😉

Other than that, agree with all.
