I will say, I'm running out of patience with Walsh and JD. How much longer are we gonna wait? These guys still don't look anywhere close to cracking the Top-10 in our rotation. I would much rather use those spots on guys like Lonnie or Yabu when they are available for the minimum instead of holding on to the likes of Walsh, Norris, etc. Especially for a team like Boston in a "win-now" mode with the Jays.
I know Craig hasn't done much but he's still a legit veteran and NBA player, and could be plugged in for situations in the postseason. Those are the kinds of guys I'd like. It's fine to keep 2-3 end of bench G-Leaguer types you can develop like Peterson, but not 4-5 unless you're a terrible team like Utah or Washington.
I know Tillman's regression hurt big time this season, but I liked the idea going into the year and thought he could be a discount Horford replacement down the road. I would still make those kind of transactions and risks going forward.
I had high hopes for Walsh but at some point you do need to score some buckets. Even Smart, Draymond, Jrue, etc. can score a bit when needed. Walsh will sometimes go in and not score anything, so then it's almost like we're 4 vs. 5 on offense.
