He's 24 next year. Perfect fit here playing next to porzingis or as a center playing with Tatum at the four.

Danny can screw the Lakers one last time and get some revenge for helping Luka to the Lakers.

Can we sign and trade Horford for him.next year he's making 4.9 million next year. Give some ideas how we would land him.

I think you'd have to send out PP or Hauser...Picks?

The Jazz seem focused on trading him, and not paying him. Great opportunity to scoop up a starting center that's a double-double every night. Ten points, twelve rebounds, two and a half blocks and shoot seventy percent from the field. Not flashy, just a lot of cleaning up around the basket.

Theoretically.  If Horford wanted to do the Celtics a favor on his way out. Could we sign and trade AL for exactly the salary of Kessler?

Is that legal? Al earns an extra 5 million next year, or retires early.

I don't believe you could do it as 1:1 trade as described here because of the C's cap situation even if you signed Horford to the vet minimum (which you would have to), but that's just based on a quick look and I haven't dug in to really try and make it work.

So 10.year veteran minimum is 3,303,771 that's under walkers 4.9 million.salary. so if we bumped up.Als salary to 4.9 million it could work correct

Really don?t get why so many people want Kessler. Celtics have Porzingis, Kornet, and Queta at C. Al is a stretch 4/5. Kessler isn?t a replacement for him.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He's not the same player, but he's 7 foot senator that's having a historic shot blocking season. He's 23 years old. He would fit perfectly with poor zengus. In my opinion and the rest of the jays, going forward big Alis too old. He's 40.

From now on we are referring to Walker Kessler as the Senator.

Can the OP change the title of this to senator as well

(I?d love him and did at the deadline but now idk if it?s realistic to get him unless you add Pritchard or Hauser for salary purposes. Kessler?s money goes up to 5M next year. Utah may elect to keep him anyways as part of their next core)

He enters free agency next year. The only way we could get him as a free agent is via the vet min. We can't use an exception to sign him as we are over the 2nd apron.

Also as a 2nd apron team we can't sign and trade our own players. If UTA wanted to sign and trade Kessler to us because Danny wanted to do us a solid, the deal would have to move us below the FIRST apron, which as of the end of this season we would be $29.5m over. We would then be hardcapped at the first apron.

Better hope nobody else wants him so we can pick him up as a vet min signing  :police:
