Defense still the same unfortunately...they score 40 points a game but give up 45 a game it seem like last year

And with no OL, Burrow will be running for his life and probably will end up injured before the end of the season.  We'll see, but I don't think this is the way to build a winning football team.

Bengals have 44% of their cap wrapped up in 3 guys (Burrow, Chase, & Higgins).  That seems aggressive.  Not sure you want to wrap up nearly 10% of your cap in an WR2.

Cincinnati was one of the hottest teams at the end of the regular season last year, and had a chance to make the playoffs based on a tie breaker in week 17. If they can avoid another slow start to their season, then they're definitely a playoff team.

They won 5 in a row at the end of the season, beating DAL, TEN, CLE, DEN, PIT.  Not exactly a murderers row.  But if they beat NE to start the season, they make the playoffs and we get the first pick.

Barf. Trump is inviting the 2019 Chiefs to the White House for winning the Superbowl that year. They couldn't attend that year because of COVID-19 pandemic.

A slap in the face to the Eagles if you ask me

Why is it a slap in the face?  The Eagles will be going to the White House in late April to celebrate their Super Bowl championship.

We just conjuring up fake controversies now?

I don't think it's a slap in the face to the Eagles but definitely some pandering to Chiefs/football fans and possibly a dig at Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift knowing her opinion of Trump.  I don't think she'd show but I'd be stunned if some crass comment wasn't made by Trump about her at the occasion.

Russell Wilson to the Giants.  Didn't they just sign Jameis?

Does that mean they're out on a 1st round QB?

Welp. Yeah that means they aren't taking a QB in the first round. Bad news for NE if they want 1 of Carter/Hunter

I think they're out on Shedeur. I think Ward is a lock to go #1.

Sources: The #Patriots are signing #Texans FA WR Stefon Diggs, one of the top free agents available. He gets a 3-year, $69M deal.

After a successful visit to NE, including a physical thanks to an ACL tear that ended his 2024, he lands to be a key target for Drake Maye.

The Eagles just won a Superbowl and the Chiefs still get celebrated with them simply over a Superbowl win from 5 seasons ago. Ofc this ruins the spotlight for the Eagles. Wouldn't you be upset if the team you beat still gets celebrated the same time as you? And it's still the Chiefs getting headlines, as usual.

Per the Bergen Record:
Quote
Those within the Giants' organization told NorthJersey.com and The Record on Tuesday that drafting a rookie quarterback with the No. 3 overall selection remains a strong possibility even with the addition of Wilson. League sources believe the Tennessee Titans are eyeing Cam Ward at No. 1, even though the Giants are still interested in making a deal to move up if one presents itself.

It seems strange that they would sign 2 and still draft another but look what ATL did.  The Giants could also trade the pick to someone looking to draft a QB.  I predict that Sanders' stock will rise back up.  I think he is a good QB prospect.  The other point made in the article is that NYG may be talking to the TEN about moving up?  That doesn't make any sense either unless TEN wants Sanders over Ward so they could trade, get more picks, and still get their guy?

Too many moving parts.  One way or another, I still think the most likely outcome is that 2 QBs get taken in the top 3, either directly or via trades, and Hunter falls to us.  I still want Hunter, even with Diggs.
