Looking back a little more to the 2022-23 season with PHX, he played the most minutes in a line up with Booker, Payne, Bridges, and Ayton (241 minutes). In this line up, he was the PF, much like Tatum is usually. That line up was -10 on the season. The next most used line up (229 minutes) was Craig with 2 bigs, Okogie and Ayton, so Craig would be a more traditional SF (what I believe is his natural position). This line up was +60 on the season.
If you prefer advanced stats, with Craig as the PF in the main line up, the team had a DRtg of 114.3. Craig as a SF with the alternate 2-big line up, the team had a DRtg of 107.1. Even this is a fairly small sample size but what this says is that the team was a whole lot better with Craig defending as a SF/Wing than when he is trying to defend as a PF/Big. He is listed at 6'-7". Sounds like BOS intends to use him as a wing/SF. That may mitigate some of the defensive problems.
