Mark Williams

Rookie year = 43 games played, 19mpg
2nd year = 19 games played, 26mpg
3rd year = 22 of 47 games played this year, 25mpg

Guy has had a lot of injury issues to give up such a bounty for.

True, but Mark is young and talented. He?s averaging 18pts, 10rebs, 3ast, 2blk over his last 10 games.

I don't know why, but he strikes me as an empty stats guy.  I keep thinking of him as the new Christian Wood.

Or Moses Brown who had 21 points and 23 Rebs vs. Boston once upon a time.

Alright, just trying to get this straight with first rounders.  Lakers still have '26, '28, and '30 but '30 is a pick swap.

'25 is with Hawks unprotected
'27 to Utah but top 4 protected
'31 is with Charlotte unprotected

Is that right? Cupboard getting bare.

I will say that Luka can make a lob-dunk guy look good.  Look what he was able to do with  Lively and Gafford.  I think this is the idea with Mark Williams.  That Luka can do for him what he was able to do with Lively and Gafford.  Lively and Gafford are both decent defenders though.  I have not seen Williams play much but it seems people think he is not a good defender.

Still trying to figure out what he is. Taller Klay Thompson? Better Michael Porter Jr.?

He doesn't shoot as well as Klay did or defend as well. He's better than Klay is now. He's a long rangy shooter who is hurt a lot... If you get 60 games from him it's a good year. He will help the Raps with shooting. Good late game scorer. If healthy, he's a good fit for this Raps team.

Taller Mikal Bridges. Not as quick laterally but taller and longer.

Trey Murphy that is.

This is the fourth trade deadline in a row in which the Raptors have traded a first rounder to acquire a player about to hit free agency (Thaddeus Young, Jakob Poeltl, Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Ingram).

4 hours to go.

Work your magic Brad.

I'd be happy with any of Lonnie Walker, Seth Curry, Javonte Green. Dream is Kessler.

@TheSteinLine

The Sixers are trading Reggie Jackson to Washington with a future first-round pick for Jared Butler and four second-round picks, league sources tell @TheSteinLine.

Who is Jared Butler?

Judging from his stats = doesn't matter.

Details on the picks

Quote
Sixers receive:

* Jared Butler
* 2027 second-round pick (more favorable of the Warriors? and Suns?)
* 2028 second-round pick (the Warriors?)
* 2030 second-round pick (more favorable of the Suns? and Trail Blazers?)
* 2030 second-round pick (the Wizards?)

Wizards receive:

* Reggie Jackson
* 2026 first-round pick (least favorable of Clippers?, Thunder?s and Rockets?)

Is this a cap dump?

Or a 4 2nds for 1st pick swap?

I liked him in college. Went to Baylor I think.

I like the Ingram move for Toronto a lot. You have to factor in it's difficult for TOR to really attract star-caliber FAs. Ingram is still just 27 and a legit 20-22 PPG scorer. TOR didn't give up a ton either. Plus they can still be in the hunt for Flagg or a Top-5 draft pick to add.

He's got a bit more a track record than Moses!  My god was Moses a mobster that game.  And like 90% of that was in the first half if memory serves.
