You'd think after it was awful the first half that Joe wouldn't go right back to this same lineup, but nope.

This may be the single worst ball protection game I've seen Tatum play in a long while. 7 TO's, mostly unforced bad dribbling or passes.

Maybe just get him a post up or two to get him back in rythm offensively.

Luckily the Kings have returned the favor with some TO's this quarter.

I agree with whoever said that Tatum + 4 bench players is a BAD lineup. JT seems to think he has to do it all by himself.  The result? Turnover.

JT is really struggling and forcing things now.

Like, Joe has to recognize this and adjust. These lineups and freestyle offense aren't helping him, especially when they're loading up on him so much. JT also has to recognize this, too, and stop forcing it into traffic when they're just collapsing on you.

EDIT: 15 pts, 11 rebs, 5 asts, and 8 TOs. Yikes. Legitimate shot at a quadruple double.

Triple double time for JT with 8 turnovers.

Ya the Tatum and 4 bench guys lineup was only -4 that quarter and -2 in the first quarter, so it didn't get destroyed. But it certainly did not feel like it was exactly clicking. The only reason its survived at all today was DeRozen has been a brick.

Not fun to watch. They should still win though

This does seem like a game that the Kings just want it more than us - clearly playing harder and smarter basketball.

I'm not sure how we get the team to play more engaged basketball during the regular season, or honestly if we even have to until later in the season. It'll be hard to catch first place in the conference at this point, and I don't think NYK is going to catch us for second place.

The championship hangover is real.

Just standing around, not guarding the 3-pt line.
