That was an atrocious half, and yet we're only down 8

Don't want to wish injury on a player but Embiid is really making me reconsider that.

JT with a good half, JB with a terrible half...2pts,1/8, 4 turnovers.

You don't need to, he'll get hurt anyways

I really would like to think what Embiid just did right before the half really lights a fire into this team. Maybe gives them a spark.

Not too bad. They were down 15pts mid Q2. Cut it to 8. They were even down 12pts with 3min to go. So trimmed the deficit before halftime. Got it within single digits ... despite playing poorly and turning the ball over too much.

8 turnovers for Boston. Felt like more. Only 1 turnover for Philly. So 7 extra possessions for Philly. That is the difference in the score board right there.

Not too bad. In good position for a 2nd half run.

Turnovers the difference...Cs with 8 and Philly with 1.

NBA officiating is killing the game. There is a reason no one watches. The refs call it one way for one team and another for the other team.

Obre's crackhead ass has just mauled any Celtic player all day. Embidd give the crowd a FU gesture.

But the sixers get called for nothing and the Cs get called for everything.

Refs are making it a point to let teams be very physical with Boston.

The thing is, C's took 20 3s. Philly has taken 28, and made 13 of them.

Our defense has just looked bad lately and these teams are able to get many open looks. They are burning us with our own methods. It's not just about us making 3s, but us defending it too.

Why is JB the primary ball handler on so many possessions? Especially when they are letting everything go on D so drives are hard. Tatum and Pritchard should have the ball in their hands.

66 points given up. The Celtics defense has been a problem all season.

I ultimately think Jaylen wakes up this half and the C's comeback

JB is just not good right now and is costing them games with his lazy play. He has been bad the last 5 games.

Lose this game and Joe will need to start putting belt to arse to get this team's attention. Sleepwalking.

I am resigned that the Cavs are going to overachieve for the 1 seed all season.

Boston is going to battle the Knicks for the 2 seed.

If the Cs fall below 3 then something is wrong.

Cavaliers feel like they could be the mid-2010s Hawks or 2022 Heat that overachieve for the 1 seed then get bounced in the 2nd round or ECF. But yeah, if Boston falls below 2 even then I'll be concerned.
